took suite no 8. Had a privet balcony and a Jacuzzi. The restaurant in the place is very nice. Tried the Salmon burger. The suite is clean, has all you need in. It is very close to the beach and other attractions in the area.

We reserved online through the service they use and had no problems. We received an e-mail right away to say our request had been received. Then soon after we got another e-mail telling us we had a room reserved. We were able to choose the room during the reservation process. Instead of keys we picked a 4 digit code, which was very convenient because we were able to access the room right when we arrived. The management sent me a text prior to the normal check-in time and told us the room was available early. The room was clean and had a view of the swinging bridge. I was concerned about the train being so close but we didn't hear it. If you are an early sleeper or a late riser they provided earplugs. We would definitely recommend this place as a convenient, clean place to stay when visiting Michigan City.

The Bridge Inn is a clean/cozy place to stay! Husband and I had an awesome trip to Michigan City, the view from our room with the rail road bridge right out the window was too cool! Our adventures to area lake towns, with guidance from the gentleman helping us with our trip details, created for my husband and I a wonderful and relaxing stay. We were truly blessed to make last minute plans and drive into such a great opportunity.
God Bless Jeff & Margot

I booked a room at this inn for our family vacation after searching for hotels and reading great reviews about it. We were not disappointed. Pete, the manager called me to confirm our reservation and talk about our upcoming trip, he provided directions and then after we arrived he welcomed us and gave us recommendations for attractions in the area. We ran into him each day and he was genuinely interested in how we were enjoying our stay, not just at the inn but in the town. Loved the personalized customer service aspect!

The inn is nothing fancy but is very nice and clean and has a unique location close to the railroad bridge that turns, our kids found this entertaining. It is also just across the parking lot from a restaurant with a bar which was very convenient and on the channel so you can feed the ducks or fish. It is walking distance to Washington Park which is beautiful and has a zoo, splash park, playground & picnic area and public beach. It was about a 20 minute walk for us (with stroller).

We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to the area which is likely. The beach was sooo nice! You would never know you aren't at the ocean!

Room Tip: Blue building is further from railroad track so probably quieter.

Just stayed one night, but will definitely be back! The room was quaint, cozy, and VERY clean! Pete, the manager, was very welcoming and accommodating! The restaurant's food was AMAZING and sits right on the water. And it's only about a 5 min drive to beach!!
