We went to see "Nunsense A-Plenty" and it was very funny. We weren't sure whether it would be enjoyable, but we did have a good time. Seeing the inside of the round barn was too neat!

I expected less and got much more. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was quite well done with dance maneuvers to rival the Howard Keel motion picture. A strong five stars from this difficult-to-please curmudgeon.

The shows were great. We saw both 'Plain and Fancy' and 'Seven Brides for Seven Brothers'. Seeing many of the same actors in two different plays was wonderful. The seats are not all that comfortable. Hope that large theatre seating is in the future plan.

The Round Barn is a great theatre and the production of “Plain and Fancy” was terrific. While sharing a story of the Amish with "outsiders" is funny it also sheds some good insight into the Amish culture. The cast was very good. "Plain and Fancy" was a wonderful ending to our visit to Indiana's Amish Country. While the theatre continuously has "Plain & Fancy", they also have other productions. We were glad we did the Amish Acres in the afternoon including wine tasting, then the Thresher dinner. We still had time after dinner to stroll the grounds looking at the Halloween decorations and displays before the show. A fun and entertaining evening. My husband is still singing or humming songs from the show.

7 Brides for 7 Brothers was great entertainment.
Unfortunately, the staff turned on the air conditioning just before the intermission and it continued through the end of the show. I'm not an expert in AC but it certainly felt like whoever turned it on - turned it to the "on" position instead of "auto" so once a temp was reached, it would have shut off on its own. Well it never shut off and the audience - mostly seniors!, well, we froze. No staff on hand at the front desk to voice our complaint! That really hurt. The show itself was just too good to walk out on.
