“Really good value for spacious room and decent amenities”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2014

In searching for a spring break trip for our family, we came across a great deal at this place. It was one of the better rated hotels for Nashville, and we don't feel that we were misled. Granted, this time of year is not their busy season by any stretch, which was completely fine with us. The facility sits on higher ground on the north side of highway 46, which offers a nice view of the hills and landscape to the south regardless of the season. Considering the vast amount of rain of recent, there's no need to worry about flooding at this property.

Our room was a good size and uniquely shaped, in a good way. We chose the deluxe room, which meant it had a small fridge and microwave that were actually a part of a small kitchenette space that included a bar sink and count space that were a bonus compared to regular rooms we have had in the past. The bathroom also had plenty of room. The angled porch to the south was a very nice feature allowing access to the view as well as an abundance of natural light into the room with the blinds open. We also appreciated the free WiFi during our stay.

Since it was raining quite a bit on our first night's stay, we took advantage of the pool, which was a good size. We especially liked the outside feel to it without being outside. Our kids also were big fans of using their ping pong table.

We saw some folks talked about the place being dated, which it is somewhat, but you don't come here for some sterile modern look. I thought it was perfect for what the area is all about and it was perfect for our needs. The only knock we would give it if any is that their recreational equipment (ping pong paddles, basketball, volleyball) were in poor condition, but I don't imagine too many folks come here looking to use these items very often. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: The rooms in the newer section are definitely nicer from what we could tell.

We have came to this area a lot of years and wanted to spend our 29th anniversary eating what we thought to be a great meal. The seasons lodge used to be a place we looked forward to eating at because they have an all you can eat prime rib buffet. We have come to this on and off for many years. We were seated and had to wait for a long period of time for them to take our drink order then when we got up to get our salad half of the things on the bar needed filling. My husband loves onion soup and we thought great they have it. We got back to the table the soup was so cold that it didn't even melt the cheese we put in it I personally did not eat mine it was so salty and cold I couldn't . We were told they were getting us bread and we waited and waited. They were serving the prime rib and any other hot vegetables out of the kitchen. So we sat waiting for the main course, and waiting and waiting you get the idea. Finally it comes and it was cold.we went ahead and ordered another piece and our waitress said that they were not going to take any other orders after 8 pm because they were running low? Then we said we would take 2 pieces in this order because we wanted to meet the timeframe, mind you they did not tell us this in the beginning or we probably would have ordered something else. Then the waitress comes back finally with our second piece only,oh yeah and the rolls promised in the beginning of the meal. She also managed to fill our drinks too great job. When she arrived she told us that we could have another piece if we wanted it and we said yes she stated that the cut off didn't apply to us because we were there before 8pm. I think they should go back to the old way of the buffet style of dinning it is less hassle and waiting and less stressful for the customer, this way doesn't work well at all. Probably won't be back that's a shame we used to like this.

We stayed one night for the Christmas Parade. The room was clean and the hotel itself was peaceful. It was only a 1/4 of a mile from all the shops downtown which was nice and convenient. Hubby and I also appreciated the fact that we could stay for one night, and not have to commit to a two night minimum stay that was required by most of the overpriced places downtown. We weren't over the moon about the facility, could have had a little more character reflective of the area and the staff could have been more friendly, but all in all it was a decent stay. Worth $110? No, but considering all the places downtown were $50 more a night, I guess we did okay. It is unfortunate that touristy areas such as this feel that they can charge whatever they want and not go above and beyond to make a stay memorable.

We stayed 3 nights in May 2013. There is a new section and old section. We were in the new section. The room was nice with a small balconey. We got a kick out of watching the cows across the street wander around. The room seemed clean but we did end up with bug bites (not sure if it was in the room, out on the deck, or outside in general - couldn't see what bit us, but our forearms were full of bites). The blankets were like sandpaper. We had a wonderful housekeeper who went and got another type blanket hoping it would help and it was better. Nice little bar with good entertainment. We didn't eat there since there is a small town full of shops and places to eat nearby. Prices vary widely based on what we paid and what another guest told us they paid.

Was there for a weekend of mountain biking and fall color. Our rooms were all in the new section of the hotel. They were big, clesn and quiet. Nice place, although pricey, but that seemed to be the going rate for the area/season. if the

Ok.Salad bar needed cleaning and stockin.Hubby and friend had the catfish. Kind of dry and overseasoned. Would prob not eat here again. I made a salad and had a baked potato. Its was fine. I would have given this 3.5 circles if I could - I think the Seasons is better than average but doesn't quite hit a 4 circle rating. I do think it's one of the best options for the area (in my experience). I stayed in mid-September for a conference. My room was in the updated section of the hotel. The room was huge and the bathroom and amenities were great. My only negative was the towels and the bed spreads - they both need to be updated. It was great to have a balcony, especially in the morning - it was foggy and the pastures with cows grazing across the street was a wonderful view. The pool was nice and because of the enclosure was warm enough to use in the evening. Right across the street there is a McDonald's, Family Dollar, IGA Supermarket and a bar. I only visited the Family Dollar and it was what would be expected. We went to the in the hotel bar one evening but did not visit the restaurant. When we ordered our drinks at the bar, it was kind of strange because we had to show our room key to take a drink (in plastic cups) out to the pool. I also had to show my room key to get pool towels (at the main desk). I believe this practice is antiquated....I mean, who would want to steal their below-standard pool towels?
The conference rooms were great but also a little antiquated - they definitely could use an update (and I love antiques, but the antiques and the rooms need to be renovated). The room we were in for all of our meetings had a lovely view of the greenery outside through floor-to-ceiling windows. It was freezing in there but I'm sure that can be adjusted. The lunch I had during the conference could have used a lot of improvement. It was a chicken sandwich (which was just okay), coleslaw (also, okay) and chips (which were gross - I'm guessing they plated them the night before because they were soggy). Also, the vegetarian option was disgusting (I didn't taste it but...) it was sautéed spinach, mushrooms and peppers on a hamburger bun with American cheese - gross! This could have been easily remedied with a nice salad or some pasta or even a Boca Burger. The dinner we had was excellent with a well-appointed salad bar, steak, baked potatoes and fried biscuits.
Downtown Nashville is great with lots of little shops for exploring. However, all the stores close around 5 - 6pm so it doesn't leave much time to shop if you're there for all-day meetings. Also, Brown County State Park is beautiful and is well-worth a visit.
Overall, the room was great and the conference accommodations were good but could have used some updating.
