I loved this hotel! My husband and I recently got married in Nashville, IN. and were given a night at the Abbey Inn as a present. We loved the room and atmosphere. The bedroom was the size of a typical hotel room but it also had an adjacent room that housed a HUGE hot tub. I'm not talking about a normal hot tub room. This tub could have fit 6 people in it comfortably. If you are a tall guy, this is the tub for you. Walking into the lobby we were greated by a very nice woman that was all congratulations. After we received our keys, we were directed through a garden courtyard with a pretty fountain. The rooms are in a separate building from the front desk area. As for the reviewer that commented on the ghost town, you might want to try a Marriott or something. If you had looked at the hotels webpage, you would have noticed the times the office was open and closed. I did that in a matter of minutes after finding out about the gift. Or maybe the reviewer that commented on the hot tub. This is a know honeymoon hotel. Why would you stay for graduation and then complain about the hot tub? It is a know honeymoon hotel! What do you think the huge hot tubs are for? Back to my review...the room had a balcony that looked over a tranquil garden. Following the staircase down into the back part of the property we found a pond that was illuminated and an awesome gazebo. Once we settled in for the night, we noticed a journal in the room. It was filled with other HONEYMOONERS stories. It was really fun to read with my new husband. Breakfast was also included in our package at the Artist Colony along with a cheese and fruit basket. Overall, we were very impressed with this little getaway. I will try to come back and re-rent the room on an anniversary and maybe try to stay away from graduation time.
