We stayed here for four nights and were very sad to leave. The design of the hotel is exquisite and our room was spacious and beautiful. I quickly became addicted to the "waterfall" shower in the bathroom, which is supposedly cold water only (although it wasn't ever actually cold), while my husband preferred the conventional rain shower with hot and cold water.

We enjoyed the food very much: we are vegetarians (and my husband cannot eat dairy either) so it worked best for us to eat from the a la carte menu. We chose to eat our lunches and dinners on the terrace by the bar since the view and the breeze were so enjoyable. We only had breakfast at the hotel once, since we were leaving at 5 am for wildlife safaris, but the breakfast buffet was excellent on that one day. We visited during the annual closure of the Block 1 of the park, so we had to travel quite a lot further for our safaris, but the hotel provided us with good breakfast packets to eat on the way to Yala Block 5 or to Bundala Park. ( We knew about the Block 1 closure before we booked: the extra travel time was no problem at all for us, and we often enjoy off-season travel since everything is quieter).

The sea was very rough when we visited, so we only went in to play in the (large) waves once. The beach lifeguards seem to be extremely well-trained and well-equipped, and one of them stood by watching us very closely while we were swimming. The swimming pool is 70 m in length and just gorgeous: since swimming is my favourite form of exercise, I was in heaven.

All of the staff are really friendly, but we want to send special thanks to Rohan and Antony from the bar/restaurants, who were especially kind.

We also very much appreciated Jetwing's ecologically focused approach (that was one of the reasons we went with Jetwing for our holiday).

So, all in all, an absolutely brilliant place and we would love to return.

The hotel in located right on the beach & everyroom looks on to the sea & infinity pool.

The hotel is beautifully decorated & is very spacious.

The rooms are well appointed & spacious with sitting area & balcony to take in the view.
The bathroom is spacious - but in need of some maintenance- see pics ( & this is the only thing that key this place down).

The wifi is okay - falls out at times

The staff are very helpful, friendly courteous& very obliging.

Breakfast is excellent in choice & quality of food.

Almost full marks - the bathroom & wifi let it down.

This hotel is beautiful. We had lovely rooms which looked out onto the sea and pool area. We stayed 2 nights as part of our tour and could not fault the hotel. We loved the pool and it is probably one of the best that I have ever swum in. There is a great air conditioned bar with a snooker table which provides a break from the heat. The food was fantastic and lived up to the standards we had experienced throughout our tour. This is a great place to stay if you wish to visit Yala National Park. The rooms were immaculate and staff very polite.

One of the best hotels we've been ever! View, deluxe room with open air shower, magnificent pool (close to infinity), very friendly staff and - last but not least - exquisite dinner. Gotta come back one day!
