I rented the entire house for a weekend reunion. It was perfect. The landlords were unbelieveably helpful; from varying breakfast for certain early risers to providing music on the beautiful grounds. They also catered a dinner and did a wonderful job for a resonable price. The house itself is beautifully kept inside. Work is going on for some cosmetics outside but it is nothing offensive. The location, next to the wonderful Tippecanoe restaurant and a few blocks from town make this perfect for those that do not want to travel once they arrive. I strongly recommend this B & B.

We had a great time at the Oliver Inn. Beautiful property and restored home, gorgeous rooms. Great breakfasts, welcoming inn-keepers. Butler's pantry is a great idea - the home made cookies were a particular treat.

Traveling back from our honeymoon and needed a place to stay for the night. Lucky enough to get the last room here and really enjoyed it. We came in late but the inn keepers were great and didn't mind. They suggested a nice Irish Pub down the road which turned out to be loads of fun. Breakfast was good. Price for room was good and they even offered a discount being that we reserved and came in so late. I would definitely recommend this B&B for overnight or for a longer stay.

This Inn is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful, well kept and comfortable. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Our experience was so relaxing, quiet and inviting. We had never been to a bed and breakfast and didn't really know what to expect, but after this visit we can't wait to try out more and will most definitely be going back to this one when we are in the area.

Room Tip: The James Oliver room is very big and comfortable. If you are looking for a romantic room for two th...

Decided on a whim to stay overnight in South Bend and were lucky enough to find this quirky B&B down a large, leafy street. Everything about it is really Victorian, including our spacious room which was tastefully decorated with antique furniture. And the bed got top marks, it was fantastically comfortable.

The Inn keeper was very friendly and our bags were whisked up to our room by her husband whilst she was chatting to us - nice one!

A tasty, plentiful breakfast sent us on our way the next day. All in all, definitely worth the price.

As we drove up the drive of this enchanting home we were greeted by the Innkeeper, Alice. She is very personable and will go out of her way to make you comfortable and make sure that you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The house is amazing on the inside and it makes you feel like you are actually in the time when this was an active family home. Alice and her husband Tom are the most gracious hosts you'll ever meet. The breakfast Alice makes is unforgettable and Tom makes sure that your coffee cup is never empty. If you're coming to the area don't pass up a chance to go back to the Victorian era and stay here. Check their internet site as they also run some very reasonable specials.

My family and friends stayed at the Oliver Inn days before my wedding at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame. Everyone, including myself, was from out of town. The Oliver Inn felt like a home away from home. Alice and Tom not only make you feel like guests - but also family. The morning breakfast, the rooms, the service - everything is perfect. I cannot imagine a guest having a bad experience. It is not a place to just stay - but a place to also enjoy.
