“Great place to watch the game and grab a bite”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 September 2013

Recently we visited the University of Notre Dame. Since the football game was out of town, we wanted to find a place that televised the game and had great food. We were immediately attracted to the catchy name of Between the Buns. We called them up explaining we were from PA and wanted to be able to watch the game could they accommodate 6 for reservations. They could. The food was great. There were TV's all over the place and all different games playing prior to the ND game. Price was right, we all got something different to eat and everyone enjoyed the meal. I personally got the Black and Blue Burger and loved it. The owner was friendly and caring. When we get to South Bend again, we will be sure to go again.

“Unimpressive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 September 2013

In our opinion, the food is average, the atmosphere poor, the prices average. Not our cup of tea. We don't understand its popularity.

“As average as it gets”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2013 via mobile

Stopped by because we were looking for a fun bar food atmosphere. The place delivered on the casual sports bar atmosphere. The food was just okay. The bun on buffalo chicken sandwich was a bit stale. Fries are a steak cut and good. Mini sliders were good and rood beer float was very good.

“Great sports bar with very good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2013 via mobile

Had an excellent meal with the family after a baseball game. The menu had a lot of typical sports bar fare, but done really well. My mother in law is a wings afficiando and she said that the wings were the best shes ever had. Big, full chicken wings. Great sauce. The onion rings were big and tasty. 32 oz draft for $3.50 on Sat night. C'mon. Parmesan shrimp were a big hit. My sister was able to find choices that fit in with a diet she's on. Not a visible location, but well worth the extra effort to spot it.

“Don't judge a book by it's cover”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 April 2013

This place could use a face lift. It is in a strip mall, the out side is plain and the sign is hard to find, but take a chance. The resturant bar is divided into adult and family. The high ceiling and
ecclectic decor gives a open feeling. The server was friendly and arrived right away. she was knowledgable about the menu. The menu has a little someting for everyone.Definitely try the onion rings and be prepared to share. These are the BIGGEST onion rings I have ever seen. They are cut from an onion the sixze of a soft ball. The burgers were good and they had a nice kids menu,There were 6 of us and we all had a beer, the bill was $79 dollars. Wow!!!
