The hotel has been remodeled and is quite nice. The beds are awesome and it was very clean. However, tv service is not tv service if it doesn't work during the entire stay. If it's too cloudy in South Bend for satellite tv, then you need to get another service. Something is definitely wrong. there is not much to do when traveling than watch tv at night.

Breakfast area has been remodeled and nice.

Housekeeping wise, I would expect my room to be made up by 4:30 pm. This did not happen. Nothing worse than coming back to a room you expect to have been tidied up.

I think this hotel has gone downhill over the past few years.

We've stayed here before for other family events and will be back. This is one of our go-to hotels in the area. Newer construction and well-maintained, it has everything we need for a reasonable price.

Our first experience with this hotel was booking it on-line, as we were going to arrive pretty late in the evening. Very easy. The second interaction was when I called ahead to ask for a cot in our room as our teenage daughter and son have no interest in sleeping together :)--The staff was very friendly and accommodating, ready to set the cot up and expecting us late. We arrived and it was a matter of 10 minutes between check in and our lights out--cot and bedroom ready for our arrival. It was a nice touch. We got out the door early, and breakfast was ready for those who wanted, but we also grabbed a "to go" bag. My thanks for the nice touches to make our stop over very comfortable. For those who need to stay longer, it is close to the University and many restaurants and shopping areas.

I travel the country for work, so I've stayed in many Hampton Inns. This is one of the nicest and pretty quiet even on weekends. It was recently renovated, so everything looks brand new and has modern rooms. It is also kept clean. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. As a HHonors diamond member, it's nice to be upgraded to a suite for long stays which are quite large with a nice kitchen area. I've stayed here for the past month and a half that I've been in town for work. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice Hampton Inn. Stayed in a suite for only $119 - can't beat that! Nice little breakfast, treats at night and always friendly staff on duty. My only issue with the hotel is the fact that on the room floors, the rooms are divided into odd number rooms and even number rooms by hallway. That's all fine and well, albeit weird to me, but would have been ok if there had been appropriate signage. The signage is non-existent. Other than that - loved it.

Great stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in South Bend. The hotel just renovated and I love the new look. Everything is new and clean - love the renovated rooms, will definitely stay here again next fall for a football game!

An overall great experience. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean. The layout of the hotel was very confusing. Odd numbered rooms were on one end and evens on the other we were walking around for quite sometime trying to locate our room and the elevators were poorly located.
