Our family attended a wedding here in their ballroom which was very large and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and parking was a snap with the adjacent parking ramp. There is a sushi restaurant and a brewery within walking distance nearby. Loved it!

Marriott Coralville was the PERFECT place to host my daughter's wedding. Firstly it sits along the Iowa River, and has a terrace we used for her ceremony and can seat at least 200 people. Secondly the rooms were extremely comfortable for our out of towners with the rates extremely competitive. Thirdly, the location was awesome as there were 2 restaurants in 2 minutes walking time, which one of them we used for the dinner rehearsal the night before and the other was a brewery the younger people used later on after the reception....;) The ballrooms there are top of the line and beautiful. Brittney Knipp was our event coordinator and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She went above and beyond her call of duty and the team she had lined up for us did as well. This is one very happy mother of the bride and would highly recommend this Marriott for any event!!!!!!!

Hotel was very accommodating to our needs and those of our wedding party. Rooms were small (double queens) but clean and well organized. The Western Michigan Univ football team was staying the same weekend so the hotel was full. The room service was a little slow but not bad. I think staff was a little overwhelmed during the weekend. Staff was attentive and friendly except for the bartenders in the hotel bar. Also the food from the hotel restaurant was just OK according to my family. I'd stay again.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing out the back, overlooking river and pond.

This hotel ranks first on my list of US hotels anywhere coast to coast. I always look forward to my stay at this hotel. I have never had a bad stay nor any issues of services or cost. Super staff..especially Nancy in concierge lounge. If you book a room on the concierge floor you will not regret it- fabulous food and staff to accommodate you throughout your stay. I highly recommend this hotel for business and pleasure!

We love staying here. It is out of the way from party-central of downtown IC (and away from those crazy prices); but still very convenient to get to and get around from here.
The food in the restaurant is great, there is also a good Asian restaurant in the shopping district next to the hotel that we go to often.
Staff is always very friendly; go out of their way to help you book a shuttle or find a cab if the Marriott shuttle is unavailable.
Have been here with friends for girls' weekends and with my husband for football game weekends, everyone loves it....especially now that Von Maur is next door as well!
If you're feeling lazy, order their room service- it was delicious!

Room Tip: Ask for a river view!

We wanted a more upscale hotel for our first Hawkeye game as we are novices to college football and the thought of a bunch of crazy kids wasn't my goal for this adventure. yet, Oh My! This hotel was completely not prepared for the quantity of people that walked through their doors. It was one mishap after another with our room key working and then not working, stranded by their shuttle downtown for over an hour and cabbing back to the hotel because of a bunch of drunken bachelorette partiers, broken zipper on their bedding that damaged our clothing. The front desk people were as dismissive as they were apologetic and offered a free breakfast and reimbursed us for the damaged TShirt a total of $25. I would like to say that this was enough but the points I saved for these next four years at Iowa are precious and this was a waste of 25K. BTW, no fridge in the room, just an empty cabinet; Why the torment? Thank heaven for the most awesome bartender who provided a nightcap of Rum Chada....Yummy :p The property and the surrounding area will be very nice once finished. Best news is VonMauer is open and it's right next door.

Room Tip: I loved the view of the fountain from our room!

This hotel was right at the top of some of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Our room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. I used the soap and shampoos provided, which I usually don't as I bring my own. The lobby was huge with a winding staircase. The hotel has a library which unfortunately I didn't get to use as we were only passing through Iowa on our way home to Ohio. Parking is an extra $8, but the parking garage is next door to the hotel and a very short walk. The hotel clerk charged the fee to our room, and gave us the parking pass. You can come and go as much as you like, you just scan the ticket at the entrance. We didn't eat at the hotel's restaurant, but walked to a nearly place (Vesta) that was very good and reasonably priced.
