We found this hotel in a AAA book so decided to try it out. the price was reasonable for a double bed(queen) for three people. the check-in was nothing special the guy was in training. our room was very clean the hallways were and lobby also. there's no elevator but that was not a problem for us. the beds were comfortable plenty of space in the bathroom too.
early in the morning my wife had turned on the heater as it was quite cold in the room and after about a minute the smoke detector started buzzing at 0600, when we informed the front desk all we got was a excuse the heat system hasn't been run this year yet.
the other issue we had after returning from breakfast some how the flip lock on the door went to the the other side and locked us out of our room. so we had to wait for a woman from house keeping to come and break the lock by shoving the door open. i'm not blaming the hotel for this because it looks like a freak accident.
breakfast was very good, it was like a expanded continental.
