The skybridge is locally known as the "Bridge to no-where". It basically crosses one busy city block. It stops short of the river. During the daytime the skybridge offers nice views of the city and river, great place to take photographs. After dark; is lit up in an ever changing array of colors, gives a kind of funky look as you pass through it. Its climate controlled. My personal thought of the bridge; It makes you want to cry when you hear it cost $7Million to build the bridge that is really a walkway between a parking garage and a casino ($5.3 Million of that was taxpayer money). The bridge really only crosses one major street and most of the casino parking lot. But for $7Million it will provide a nice lasting memory....Isn't that the city with that weird bridge that didn't go anywhere?
