I stayed here because I had on-the-fly decided to extend my stay in the area by one night, and there wasn't room where I had stayed the previous two nights. The building looks a bit worn on the outside, and that continues inside. The front desk people were friendly and efficient. I was on the 2nd floor, and the hallway had a rather musty-fusty smell, but the room was OK. I was a little worried as there were two 5&4-year-old entries on bedbugregistry.com, but that was apparently soon after the motel had changed from a Super 8 to the Econolodge. So I did alot of inspection of the room and it was clean. Bed was clean and comfortable, AC worked, shower was good. The carpet could use a real cleaning--beyond vacuuming. There was almost no road noise in the room, even though I was on the front side which faces Merle Hay road. My room had a door to an adjoining room, and I could hear the neighbours pretty clearly.
So, when I come back to the area I'll probably stay that the other motel I used this time, but this one was an OK second choice.More
