“Good for drinks and music”
Reviewed 25 April 2012

Bar food, nothing distinguishing about it. Interesting old building, but very noisy. Younger crowd.

“The Bank came back from a devestating amount of damage.”
Reviewed 21 April 2012

The food is good, the athmosphere is quaint, and the history remarkable.

“New Menu Was Lovely”
Reviewed 27 February 2012

Decided to stop by after hearing there were new owners and a new menu. They had two young guys playing acoustic and singing covers, and nice dimly lit for a good atmosphere. We tried the seafood enchiladas and the chicken dish with mashed potatoes and asparagus. (chicken dijonnaise)...both our dishes were very nice, good serving size and a nice value. For dessert we had the "bumbleberry" pie...all berries recipe from "grandma" ala mode. It was also very good. Service was friendly but not very attentive. However, seems like the place is moving on up and I would return to try more menu items. Keep the live mood music please!

“New Owners, but I think the food is actually worse..”
Reviewed 17 February 2012

Went for their lunch and while they had a decent selection, the food left a lot to be desired. We had hoped the new owners would make a difference, but it appears the food is even worse than it was.

The sandwich had no flavor and the fries were not only burned, but had a bad aftertaste. The whole table agreed that there was no reason to return.

Unfortunately they also kept the tiny tables and tall chairs so you still feel very awkward while eating.

The one bright spot was the service was decent.

Too many other places to go in Downtown Dubuque.. I wouldn't waste your time.
