We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! It was great having the wedding party here. Who knew a tow truck would come out at 1:30 AM! A story we have told over & over as a fond memory. Have a great summer!

We went there for a wedding party and rented out all nine rooms. Every room was beautiful, the grounds stunning and the breakfasts top notch. Sort of hard to find, but a very pretty, woodsy setting. Good value for the money. And, all
rooms have a hot tub.

Thanks so much for the kinds words. We are so glad you enjoyed yourselves after a "long" day of travel! We are secluded which throws the GPS off but are glad the stay makes it worth it. Have a nice summer down south!

My husband and I just stayed here last weekend for our 30th Anniversary and loved it. Phil and Kay are wonderful hosts and Chef Phil is a fantastic cook. We were very well taken care of. It was so peaceful and quiet. There are birds of all kinds to see and listen to as well as the deer and other animals in the area. Kathy made fresh cookies and had them in our room each day. We will definitely go back! The Sleeping Bear Den is the loft room and we had our own private sitting area as well as breakfast delivered if we wanted.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 11th Anniversary, and we couldn't have picked a better place! It's a gorgeous log home (2, actually) tucked away in a beautiful wooded area. We were greeted immediately by Phill and Kathy who made us feel very welcome and right at home. Very well-kept, quiet place, ideal for nature lovers. The homemade cookies in our room were a delightful touch - freshly made every day! And breakfast was absolutely wonderful!! They are warm and friendly people with a ton of experience, managing a wonderful place. We highly recommend it!

Room Tip: The morning sun coming through in the Moonlight and Roses room was wonderful!

You were fun to have here and we enjoyed hearing about your bike ride (11th lock on your 11th!) too cool. We are hoping to ride together! Working on that bike package!

Enjoy your bike riding!

We had an Amazing weekend. The lodge is so beautiful and Phil and Kathy made us feel welcome and comfortable.

Kathy's fantastic cookies were certainly our favorite feature of the room. It was just one of the little touches that made us feel at home.

Chef Phil is a wiz in the kitchen, his baked apples were beautiful and delicious, not to mention my personal favorite. On the second day we were wowed by his innovative eggs benedict served with REAL Maple Syrup!!! (I will never go back to the "other" stuff). A perfect start to a day of Hiking.

Whitewater Canyon was so beautiful and surprising. We can't wait to come back.

An extremely beautiful facility! My wife and I were in severe need of getting away from our busy schedules. After much searching we settled on QWL. We are so happy we did. We were warmly greeted by John and Deb upon arrival. They made our week there an overall amazing stay. We enjoyed their conversation and by far the best breakfasts we have had. Great cooks! They also gave us ideas on things to see and places to eat. Any B&B would be a hit with John and Deb looking after the guests. That coupled with the beauty of the area, the lodge, and the wildlife just outside your window made this stay more than we had hoped or imagined. The room, Bella Vita, was cozy and so nice to retire to each night. We spent a lot of time in front of the fireplace in the main lodge. Just awesome!
