From the quick check in to the even quicker check out, the experience was great. Staff were very polite and explained all of the things the hotel had to offer. from free cookies at check in to the bar, convenience store with pizzas, hot pockets, pot pies and other items you can cook in your room. And the free coffee 24-7. The room was very nice, clean and roomy. Breakfast was very good and quick. The staff kept the food stocked well even through the rush. A very good experience. I would stay again

Room Tip: 4th floor was very nice with the Mississippi room. Big open room overlooking the river. Nice place t...

This hotel is new and clean and well decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful. A complimentary hot breakfast is served in the morning. We took our breakfast (and coffee, later) outside, across the street. We sat at a picnic table and enjoyed a view of the mighty Mississippi River. If you are road trippin' up or down the Mississippi, be sure to stay at the Cobblestone Inn.

What a nice, clean motel! Lobby was very nice with comfy chairs, couches and flat-screen TV. Coffee is always available, and there is a free breakfast in the mornings there. They also have a small area to buy snacks, including frozen pizza, chips and soda. There's a small bar near the entrance. There is an elevator that took us up to our second floor room. I liked the room layout. When we walked in, there is an area with microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker and place to hang clothes. The bathroom opens to the side and was adequate, large sink and shower and bathtub. Lots of hot water.
The main bedroom area had a very comfortable bed. There's also a desk and chair. Our window looked out onto the street and we could see the river on the other side.
It's about 4 blocks to the casino. We walked there, but there is a shuttle to take you to and fro. I'd definitely recommend this to someone who wants a clean, modern, comfortable room.

Room Tip: Rooms to the back are probably quieter. There's a railroad across the street from the front, bu...

We just spent one night due to a cousin's wedding at a nearby state park. The inn was clean, centrally located and comfortable and the rooms, we had a king bed, were nicely furnished and clean.

We arrived on the 5th of July and returned to the hotel after the wedding.since other "nightcap" options were too noisy for a quiet conversation. I remembered there was a small bar near the lobby when we checked in. So,back to the Cobblestone. On our way we noticed lots of people gathering on the McGregor/ Marquette Mississippi berm.It slowly sunk in that there was to be a fireworks display that evening. Mean while back at the Cobblestone Our host said if we wished we could take our drinks up to the 4th floor Mississippi Room. Up we went and were greeted by an extraordinary view of the fireworks. Without the bugs, travel and traffic encountered by the folks on the berm. Sorry we're just to old to enjoy those aspects of the display. The room's lights were dimmed and our host arrived with a plate full of cookies distributed to the several guests,

Back to our room; the usual amenities Flat panel TV, WiFI and charging station, refrigerator and microwave. Slightly skimpy on the coffee packs but, several were provided when asked.Oh and breakfast was included.
On the down side parking was included but skimpy leaving the possibility of on street parking. Still free just a bit farther away.

All in all a good nights rest at a nice inn. We'd stay again with no qualms.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 2nd floor back side.Tracks run behind the hotel and we didnt'have much of a...

First time here. Was impressed with the tastefully decorated lobby. They fit a lot in a small place.
Very comfortable bed. Walking distance to Casino. Trains were not a big deal. I thought they might be. Great cookies in lobby. Ok morning breakfast- nothing spectacular - but all you need.
Room was not very clean. Bathroom had hair all over floor and shower. (water pressure was great) Looks like maid only does the bare minimum in cleaning. Dusty photos, finger prints on microwave, hair dryer. But overall a great little hotel. Would stay again and hope for a cleaner room.

We were tired, with a grandson, on a Friday night of a holiday weekend. We drove past a couple "less attractive" "places, and right in front of us, out of the blue, was the Cobblestone. They had a beautiful room, free internet, fantastic service, great breakfast. It's walking distance from the river, a lovely local "diner" type restaurant, and -well- it's just a great place. And beautifully clean.
Highly reommend! Only 1 year old, it's a small, and has a "boutique-y" feel. No pool, and our grandson didn't even miss it.

This was our first stay at this new hotel. We stayed for 3 days - and everything was "awesome". All the way from making the reservations, checking in and checking out absolutely went smooth and the hotel personnel were extremely polite. The room was spacious - had a microwave and refrigerator. The king size bed was comfortable - even the pillows. We were on the third floor. The breakfast had a wide range of items hot and cold. Coffee is available 24 hours a day. The lounge area is very welcoming and even has a bar. Free newspapers. Wireless internet and even a dvd player in the room. The hotel is only a block from the Isle of Capri Casino. We will definitely stay again.
