“More than just a bed & breakfast”

Staying at Corner Oak is like being at home except it is the type of home that you wished you had! Beautiful accommodation in a stunning location. The bedrooms are large and so so comfortable. Lovely lounge overlooking their gorgeous gardens. Luxurious bathroom with a bath that you could live in. The hospitality was amazing. Delicious cakes awaited us on arrival and the breakfasts were amazing. Michelle really did think of everything - including putting out toys for our children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely stay there again and have recommended Corner Oak to other members of our family.

We recently visited corner oaks only due to a great reccomend from the Lincoln tourist office after being let down after a flood by another guest house. This place is truly wonderful as are its owners.Michelle is a great host and the house is stunning with fabulous gardens. The guest house consists of 2 double bedrooms modern chic and quality furnishings, along with a comfortable lounge and large bathroom. The breakfast is continental but Michelle did us eggs and ommlettes plus fab cappuccinos from her footballers wives kitchen(not jealous at all).We ate in their lounge/diner /kitchen both days and its stunning with views over its1.5acre garden. This a fab place to stay if your going to the Lincoln area.If carlsberg did guesthouses then this would be it in all its5star luxury.Great job we can't wait to return.

Stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Great setting, with easy access to lots of walks in the beautiful and peaceful woods. Fantastic hospitality, the hosts were so helpful, kind and friendly and we felt really welcome. We would thoroughly recommend Corner Oak, and hope to return again soon ourselves.

Thanks for writing us a review. It was nice to see you both enjoying the woods and walk's to Doddington as often when our visitors stay one night it is impossible to do this. I stand by my guns that it is a nature lovers heaven here, especially in spring or summer when the garden is lush.

We just spent one night, but were made so welcome that we wished we could have stayed longer. Everything was top quality and we can guarantee you won't be disappointed. Lovely chocolate cakes waiting for us when we arrived, and there was unlimited tea and coffee at all times. There was a huge continental-style breakfast and everything was really fresh. The whole place is just beautiful.

Room Tip: There are two rooms, but Michelle only takes one family at any time - your own very comfortable loun...

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner. The family was friendly and welcoming but we still had our own space with the private living room. My plan was to find somewhere quiet to get away from things back home and this exceeded my expectations. It was everything I wanted plus more.
The main bedroom has a crazy-comfy bed, it's got great light coming in and quality curtains so the light doesn't spill in in the morning.
The bathroom was a luxury! Candles around the room, separate bath and shower with bubble bath, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
The living room was cosy and warm with a mini fridge for essentials. Lots of DVDs to choose from as well as 2 packed folders with leaflets and information about Lincoln and the surrounding areas. Board games and books and a games console too.
These little details are what made me smile the most; the cake upon arrival, the bath robes and slippers, the takeaway menus provided, the different types of tea and coffee and the PERFECTLY made breakfasts.
Couldn't imagine finding anywhere better to stay than this place.
I'll recommend this place to anyone who will listen. My weekend was perfect. Thankyou so much :)

Wow Joel, that was a great review you gave us, I'm still preening my feathers here!!! So glad you had everything that you needed, it is so vital to me to make sure that guests feel like they are in a real home, not a sterile bedsit. I like to make people feel as though they are part of the family and not a means to an end, we enjoyed having you and I love it when guests share themselves with us! Maybe see you again one day?

I actually used this B&B whilst on business in Lincoln. It was about the same price as hotels in the area but this was a home from home. Terrific breakfast and I had some evening meals with the family. I went for a couple of runs around Skellingthorpe Wood too which is an ancient remnant of Sherwood Forest. Most importantly though, it has the most comfortable bed, blackout blinds and the place is deathly silent. I would thoroughly recommend Corner Oak.

Excellent amenities including visitors' own lounge. Warm welcome from charming hosts. Breakfast was a delight of fruit and granola compot served in their own large kitchen/ living area. We agree with the other good reviews. The nearby cathedral city of Lincoln is perfectly situated to explore from the B&B and has much to commend it.
