Strawberry Farms is a relaxing and friendly bed and breakfast. The breakfasts are awesome. Beds are excellenet quality as we have stayed several times in different rooms and beds are always excellent. This is a pet friendly inn. Karl and Linda make the stay special.

Everything about our stay was fantastic! A business trip brought us to the area in June but I didn't want to stay in a Davenport chain hotel because I wanted to return from a long day of hard work to a real home atmosphere and my expectations were surpassed! Karl and Linda (and Maggie and friends) greeted us with warmth and humor and made us feel right at home. We had a great time sharing stories and getting to know these genuinely warm-hearted people. Breakfast was super-delicious and "veganized." If you are vegan, vegetarian or have any other food preferences or allergies, Linda and Karl are happy to accommodate your needs and their cooking will delight your taste buds!

I stayed in Strawberry Farms B & B 3 nights while visiting family in the area and doing some genealogy research. The B & B is in a gracious old brick 2-story farm house set back from a quiet road, amidst green, green fields. The B & B has a warm, homey feel. The hosts are very helpful and welcoming and make a guest feel "in one's home." The bedroom I stayed was on the second floor at the front of the house. The bedroom and attached bathroom were spacious, light and airy, the decor was simple and appealing. The high canopy bed was very comfortable and all was sparking clean. The breakfasts were a real treat: a large variety of menu choices and times for one's selection the night before. My breakfast this morning, for example, was fresh fruit salad garnished by fresh mint sprigs, quiche Loraine, and homemade blueberry scones (3!). For anyone doing genealogy research, the hostess is very knowledgeable about local resources and experts. I would certainly stay here when I return to Muscatine. By the way, Muscatine is a lovely little city.

My wife and I had a great experience for our first ever B&B stay. We were provided with an excellent array of options for breakfast each morning which was delicious and more than either of us could finish. The room was furnished nicely and was neat. As others have mentioned Linda & Karl are wonderful hosts.

Room Tip: We stayed in the "rose room". It was nice and has its own bathroom. Note the old house h...

Thank you so much Cody. One slight correction in Room Tips. Yes we do have air conditioning on both sides of the house.

Went back and forth trying to decide whether to stay at Hampton Inn or Fairfield. By the time I decided everything was full so I decided to try this B&B. Wonderful experience. Loved the hot breakfast and the friendly golden retriever. 5 minutes to Allsteel and HON.Owners are one of a kind. Thanks Linda & Karl for making this feel like staying at a relative's house. The German guy.

We ended up at Strawberry Farm B & B sort of by chance--it was well out of our way en route to Galena, IL. When I woke up a black squirrel was chasing a blondish friend around and around the ancient oaks. Our bed was comfortable and the other rooms looked as charming as ours. the house has wings and things--add ons that added to the interest. A popular place for elegant weddings, I think. Breakfast was delicious and I'd show you photos but I lost my camera on our way home. Compatible and charming, like-minded people made our evening and the next morning with them worth the 100 or so miles I took us out of our way. It looked so close on the map. There was even a step stool for me to get into the lovely old East Lake bed in the Berry Room. The term "genial host" describes the Reicherts.

Room Tip: I'm not sure you could pick a bad room. Only wish I could show you photos. We leaped into piles...

We had a mini family reunion here everyone enjoyed their room and the use of the screened porch yard and gazeebo made the week-end. Our only problem was choosing breakfast from the wonderful options. (psst be sure to make room for the wonderful yummie coffie cake)
