Craig y Nos country park is a really beautiful place to visit the park is flat with good paths and very well landscaped with two small lakes and plenty of open space right by the side of the tawe river, there are plenty of tables for picnics etc. After the park we visited the cafe only for a coffee which I cannot judge because after placing an order with a waitress and paying our drinks never arrived when people who arrived after us were served we enquired as to were our order was to be greeted with a blank stare and a reaction as if I was talking Russian we had our money back and left without a word of apology or reason we shall visit the park again but have a coffee elsewhere .

Called into Craig-y-nos Country Park after visiting Adelina Patti's castle next door, where the welcoming staff were so friendly and helpful. A great little Cafe/Restaurant which was unpretentious, served great food and didn't charge the earth for the privilege of eating in lovely surroundings. The food was freshly cooked and the service was attentive without being overbearing. We enjoyed the experience and will return again soon.

easy walking and a great castle, bird watchers will have a great time, just be aware if you are on your own not to visit the cafe, you will get ripped off.

Went on a damp sat morning for a walk around the park and as it ties in with long distance walks managed to see more of the surrounding countryside. Park is small and manageable with a duck pond and ample parking. Cafe/tea rooms were fantastic - home made pies and cakes at a reasonable price - just what you want after a refreshing but wet walk!

If you enjoy peaceful walks in the great outdoors, this is the place to be. The woodland walks are delightful, the river was spectacular on the day I visited, as there had been a lot of rain the day before and the river was fast flowing and extremely high. The sunlight breaking through the cover of trees in the woodland was quite magical. The parkland once belonged to the Craig y Nos Castle which is now a Hotel, which was once the home of the opera singer Adelina Patti. I approached the hotel receptionist who very kindly allowed me to have a look inside the hotel and was very impressed with the small theatre which is part of the hotel. There is a tea room in the park with outside seating which is the best place to be on a pleasant day. Enjoyed my visit and the wonderful photo opportunities.
