We were looking for a motel in Iowa City. Since it was a football weekend all motels were taken. We were fortunate to be directed to Heritage Inn at exit 225 off I-80. The Inn is very clean and smoke free. What was really welcoming was the genuine friendliness of the owner/manager, Sandi and his mother, Gita. Such nice people. You feel like you have been staying with friends. The rate was very reasonable compared to Hampton Inn. Great value on I-80 a few miles west of Highway 218. We highly recommend this and will stay there again. Great motel for Iowa sport fans!

Room Tip: We had a King room on second floor. Very spacious. Thankfully we were not at the end of the hallway. It's a long walk.

This is our second time of staying at the Heritage Inn. Sandi and his mother remembered us from our stay in 2012. They were so nice to us and made us feel so special. The room was clean and perfect for our needs. The breakfast at the restaurant is great. We will be back! They were so friendly!

This was a Harley Owners Group Chapter ride out Kansas City from Gail's Harley Davidson in Grandview, MO. There were 10 of us who rode our Harley's or drove to attend the Octoberfest in the Amana Colonies. The hotel was located in the just the right place to visit the Amana coloinies or visit the outlet mall. Sandi was great in helping to arrange rooms for a group and being a man of his word. The hotel was clean, bright and gave a feeling of being at home in the lounge. The hot breakfast was a plus and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere at the restaurant. The pool and hot tube where clean with towels neatly laid out for the swimmers. The out door gazebo was very nice to sit and enjoy the day or evening. We enjoyed the hospitality of Sandi and his Mom who both went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We will be staying at the Heritage Inn Amana Colonies Hotel again.

I took my three grown daughters to Williamsburg (outlet mall) to celebrate 'birthday month'. All four of us have birthdays within 30 days and I thought it would be fun to celebrate. We stayed at the Heritage Inn and found it to be a pleasant experience. Sandi and his mother were gracious hosts and take great pride in the property and their service. I would recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

Room Tip: Our room on the second floor was quiet and easily accessible with the elevator.

I have been coming to Amana for over 10 years and have stayed at the Heritage Inn Amana Colonies for the majority of those visits. The service is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Management is very considerate and helpful. I have stayed at other Hotels but prefer the Heritage Inn over all the other choices in the area. I will be back next year.
