This unique little place was amazing for a strange afternoons entertainment . We walked around this museum taking in so many different eras & styles of the decades in the form of teapots . After we had cream teas on the lawn .

“Teapot Island”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

This is in the beautiful village of Yalding. It is a brilliant place for a peaceful but interesting day out. There is plenty of parking space but there is a charge of £2. There is a teapot museum containing over 7, 000 teapots from all over the world. There is also a lovely little café that serves full breakfast, great variety of lunches and of course traditional afternoon tea and scones. Children and dogs are made very welcome. There is an abundance of wildlife to entertain you. There is also a pub on the other side of the weir. All in all a very great day out.The only drawback was the toilet facilities, they were situated the otherside of a field and were not very clean.

“Unique little place...”

Teapot island is home to over 7,000 teapot ranging from various decades. It's a quaint museum run by a somewhat eccentric - but friendly - family and is well worth a visit when you have a spare afternoon.

“Teapots!”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

It's a lovely spot for picnics, walking, pub meal or tea and cake in the Teapot Cafe! The cafe is on an island surrounded by the River Medway. There is also a teapot museum!

“Bit of fun”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

Visited Yalding for the first time and someone had said to me to go to Teapot island. We didnt view the teapots but saw that there were 1000s on display. We did have a cream tea though and whilst not traditionally served, it was very nice and the scones were lovely. We had our dog with us and it was lovely to be able to sit outside in the sunshine and then take a slow stroll along the river. A great way to spend an afternoon.
