This was by far the coolest and most amazing place we've stayed at - and we've stayed at a number of places. At first I was a bit sceptical about the whole concept of a luxury camp but one look at Dune Camp and I 'got' it.. You definitely won't be 'roughing' it - there is a bed to sleep in (a very comfy one), a shower, even a closet for your luggage. The tent are on platforms so you don't need to worry much about creepy/crowlies. The location is absolutely amazing - right in the middle of a beautiful desert landscape... the service was amazing. Every morning they would deliver a tray with tea and biscuits to the tent so you could watch sunrise from your tent while drinking tea and eating yummy biscuits. There are two game drives a day - in the morning and in the evening - and evening drives include 'sundowners'. The food was good; my only probably was that I had a very hard time eating gazelles for dinner, because we saw that on our game drives earlier in the day:)
I cannot say enough about how great this place is!
