“Memory of life time!”
Reviewed 25 February 2014

We had a memory of our life time. Couldn't still believe a rural house in a distant hamlet can create such a lasting imprint in our mind. The best part is lulling in the morning sun, having coffee and relishing the quite country ....Simple yet sophisticated!

The little house in Samari is a beautiful place. Inside like a country house in Provence - outside the best of Nepal. You can have some great walks in the hills or a relaxing walk in the village.

Inside the house you have all you need - it's not a five star lodge - but you will enjoy the space in the bedroom, the beds are good quality, the bathroom is European standard and the cook will make some good food. You will really enjoy some days here.

Samari is a little village on the old route from Kathmandu to Pokhara. It is sorrounded with ricefields and only a small road from Trisuli can reach it.

The Homestay is a little classic nepalese house which has been lovingly restored. And a new kitchen and bathroom has been build with respect for the old traditions.

It is a unique possibility to be a part of the real Nepal. The the hospitable people, the nature and the silence.

When I stayed there the kitchen was not ready yet, so I had my dinner as a VIP in the local teahouse's room in the back. Anyway I moved to the little dining room and had my dinner with the family that owned the place. An experience that I would recomend to everybody.

The staff is friendly and makes all effords to make your stay enjoyable.
