It's free, walk in the orig ruts of the ancesters passing by thru numerous trails as seen a bit west od Dode City, KS. There is a short walk to the end of the concrete path with various wild plans new to us. We photod lots of them and got once in a lifetime pice of us on the frables Sante Fe Trail.

It doesn't take long, but, it is neat to see the actual trail and Soule's Canal remnants. I went at sunset and it was a very peaceful place to watch the sunset and learn a little history.

Nice walkway and markers explaining points of interest regarding the old pioneers trail. Parking area nice and neat to get to see the actual ruts from the wagon wheels that crossed the praire over 150 years ago opening up the west to expansion. It represents an era or American history that is nice to experience while it lasts. Awesome sunset here. Would recommend.

Looking out at the end of the trail you can see the tracks and ruts when the light is right. Our kids loved the chance to see where the covered wagons went and get an idea of what they faced.
