We arrived here expecting typical Perigord Noir fare which can be quite tiresome if you have traveled in the region before. One can get sick of seeing confit or magret de canard on every menu. What an incredible surprise this was for us. Inventive and fresh cuisine by a young and energetic chef. The food and service is top-notch and far more than you would expect from a restaurant "in the middle of nowhere". And considering that my three course lunch menu was only 14 euros, this was quite a value. We had such a great experience we drove back two days later despite staying in Sarlat (about 30 minutes away).
