If you have time please stop and see this place. It is well worth the time if you have kids or even like dinosaurs. It is a lot of information but well worth the nominal fee of admission.

The permanent exhibits are informative and entertaining. The adults enjoyed the visit and so did my 14 year old son. The history is presented in an understandable manner. Followed the visit with a great meal at Gella's Diner. Good place to take a travel break.

It is well worth your time to stop at the Sternberg. One of the most famous researchers of fossils was George Sternberg. Much of his work it exhibited here. This will be enjoyable both for adults and children.

Under the dome for this museum is wonderful. There is a fish within a fish that is the actual fossil, not a reproduction. The staff are very helpful and the museum is laid out in a circular pattern that flows nicely with the different time periods of the earth while keeping geology of the earth on track. Children will find this museum very entertaining when they reach the inter most part of the dome - that is where the dinosaurs are located.
