“Neat place, unorganized and very long lines”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2014

Liked the new water slide and the lazy river, did not like how unorganized the lines were and how mismanaged they were with how to quickly get guest onto the different activities. Better management and staff could easily fix the problems but only had 1 staff member interaction the entire day that seemed to care.

“Very Nice Waterpark”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2014

This was our first visit to the waterpark and we had a very nice time. They had multiple water slides and a multiple entry lazy river with a wave system and rapids. Each section had a pool section and allowed for system entry. They also had a kiddie park for the younger kids. They have the tallest water slide, but require scheduling for slide times, otherwise it is a waiting list. They also had several food stands and gift shop. To get the best opportunities you need to make it a day long visit.

“Fun place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2014

We enjoyed our little trip to Schiltterbahn. Getting a tube for the lazy river was definitely not easy, but we eventually got one. The slides were fun, even though the rides were long. We had tons of fun!

“Lots of waiting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014

I knew it would be busy, but this was ridiculous. We waited in line to enter ($42/person) and then waited in line to get a locker ($8) and then waited in line to get an adult beverage ($7). They did not have anywhere private to change. We waited over 30 minutes for a our food (reasonably priced). We had a hard time finding a place to put our stuff. The park was hard to navigate. We spent a long time in lines for all the rides. The adult pool/bar was connected to the kid pool. We went on 2 rides the whole 5 or 6 hours were there. I don't know how anyone can have a great time to justify paying that much. I don't plan on going back.

“A fun place to visit, if you have patience”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014

visited over the labor day weekend, so understandably, the second to last day of the season expecting some crowd...
what I didn't expect was, apparently Schlitterbahn is German for waiting in lines to wait in lines...we bought the tickets online, arrived and been told to wait in line to get a wristband, we bought a refill bottle package, received the coupon of the bottle at the same counter with the wristband and told to wait in another line to pick up the bottle and the wristband for the free refills., waited inline for 15 minutes to a food court area with minimal staffing..once in the park, when I've decided to refill my drink, there's long lines to the concession stand, I went straight to the fountain machine to fill up my drink instead (they probably would require me to wait in line for my free refill)...

the attractions are fine, we pretty much spent most of the time at the raging rivers and the tidal wave river...waited for about 45 minutes to 2 separate 'rides', it was OK, but again the operational efficiency was an afterthought to management....on one attraction, the sign noted different lines to the waterslides but on top of the platform, the dedicated lines weren't matter and it was a free for all... and most of the attractions require a tube yet for every 10 guests in the park seem like only 3 tubes are available and everyone 'fighting' for a tube and there isn't an area to hand out the tubes....

the worst part was the shower/changing area, we went to the one by the entrance and it was filthy, only 3 stalls and no privacy curtain at all...did they no expect their customer needed to clean up after spending a whole day soaking in the water???

one saving grace is, parking is free...unlike Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun
