Even if you are not a Kansas University Basketball fanatic you would still love the Booth Family Hall of Athletics. If you love KU Basketball then this can not be missed. The history of KU athletics is on display and it is fun for all ages.

When you go to a KU basketball game , go early and spend some time looking at KU sports history. It is so cool to look at the trophys from national championships. You can check your arm spans against some of the former jayhawk bball players and also other interacting stations. You dont have to go to a ku game to see this awsome display!

Every time I go to a KU basketball game I have to do walk through to see all the great athletes that have gone to KU. Many thanks to David Booth and his family for making this possible.

No trip to the University of Kansas is complete unless the Booth Athletic Hall is visited. All the sports which KU competes in are represented, both Men's and Women's. The history of basketball and the players roles in putting KU head and shoulders above every other college is shown. Glass exhibit cases feature original uniforms, equipment, and player biographies. There is a plethora of interesting sport stories and memorabilia. The building itself is world class and, of course, is attached to the world famous Phog Allen Field House, home of the Jayhawks, the world famous basketball team. When entering Booth Hall, notice the memorial squares on the walk in front of the building. Alums and fans have purchased bricks for inscriptions. There is also a gift shop in the building which sells KU t-shirts, hats and other college items.

Lawrence is all about the Jayhawks and it's all about basketball. Get the whole experience at Allen Field. It's unique!
