The chips were stale. The salsa bland and runny. The expensive strip steak was not warm to the touch and had a half-inch of inedible gristle. The black beans were dried out and had a tan patina. The rice was cold. This was quite likely the worst Mexican food I have ever been served. It is hard to screw up Mexican food, but this place aced it.
