After driving into the covered parking area, I met the property manager who graciously escorted me to the private elevator to Vetehuset - Skorda (which means "harvest" in Swedish). Skoda is located the second floor of a historic building in downtown Lindsborg. This large (much larger than a B&B or motel room) is a wonderful mixture of historic and modern with a vibe of an industrial farmhouse. There is a wonderful kitchen with plenty of counterspace to prepare breakfast or dinner with normal-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, electric range and microwave. Most motels, if you're lucky, have a mini fridge and a micro-microwave. The sleeping are holds a king-size bed with a very cool lighting fixture. The bathroom's sink is separate from the toilet / shower / bathtub room with lots of subway and hex tile. The living area has a very comfortable couch (that converts into a bed) and a couple of chairs--even a desk if you want to work on your computer. There is a large TV with cable and apps that let you link to Amazon Prime, Netflix, Facebook and many others. Then there's the laundry--it's probably the nicest laundry room I have ever seen with front-loading washer and dryer. How nice to wash your towels and clothes without running to the laundromat. You HAVE to stay here!
