My family recently stayed at this hotel. We were playing at a soccer tournament down in that area and did not want to drive a lot so decided to stay at the hotel. It was a good decision. The hotel is right off a major road. There are lots of restaurants close by. The room we had was on the 2nd floor. It was off a parking garage which was nice as a storm came through when we were there with hail and our car was covered. Our room was nice and clean.
I will warn you that there is a big soccer park and a baseball/softball park so there could be lots of kids and families here. It was a great hotel for us for that but it was really busy with soccer and baseball families. The breakfast and the kick start food at the hotel were good and a great benefit, especially with families. But they do get busy.
We did not get to use the pool much as it was so busy with kids. The pool area is nice as it has an inside and outside area. My kids were bummed though as it was to busy to swim very long. If you could come early in the morning or afternoon would be better I would think.
I would definitely recommend to stay here. Especially for families

We have stayed in numerous Drury Inn locations and this is the best one by far. All of the other hotel managers need to talk to this manager on "how it's done"! Each member of the staff spoke to us as if they already knew us AND they greeted us with a smile.

Our son graduated from college on Mother's Day weekend, and hotel prices were sky high as availability diminished. I turned to Priceline, and ended up with this hotel on my bid. The room was smaller than what we normally enjoy and prefer, but there was plenty of room. We learned that this is a fabulous family hotel, serving a nice hot breakfast in the mornings, and serving drinks with light dinner in the evening. You might only have to purchase one other meal every day you stay there. A great value for families. I doubt we'll be back, because we prefer places a little more upscale.

We switched our reservation from a cheaper hotel because this one had better reviews even though it was a little more expensive. Very glad we did! The location was good, very close to highway but we never heard any traffic noises. The room was average with a nice decent sized bathroom. Decor was a bit dated but in good condition. Really enjoyed the freebies in the lobby: 3 free drinks between 5:30-7:00 every day, free buffet-style breakfast (way more than just continental!), free snacks/meal in the evening! I didn't even know about all the freebies in the lobby so it was a complete bonus for us! The area for dining was not very spacious so go early or late cus seating was sparse. I would go back the next time we go to Kansas City!

We had a very nice experience at Drury Inn. Their food offerings at breakfast and evening were better than we expected. Hallways and room were cleaned nicely. Only suggestion I would have is that the reception desk people were not too knowledgable about procedures to use in case of tornadoes. They should have a printout readily available in the event that customers needed to seek shelter.

My grandsons had a basketball tournament at the Fieldhouse of KC over Mother's Day weekend and this hotel was a convenient location for us. While the hotel had numerous basketball and soccer players, the hotel was very quiet. I booked a suite with a king bed and sofa sleeper and a room with 2 double beds. While the beds were fine for sleeping, the sofa sleeper left a lot to be desired. Although our adjoining rooms, 524 and 526 were near the elevator, we never heard it operating. The rooms were also near the exit to the garage which made it very easy to unload and load the car. As usual, the rooms, hallways and lobby were very clean, the staff always helpful, and the free breakfast was wonderful. However, we missed the kick back party as we were at basketball games.

The only negatives I have for this hotel are the thin bath and hand towels and the position of the toilet in the bath area. It's in a corner, so close the door before sitting down.

Room Tip: Our adjoining rooms, 524 and 526, were near the exit to the garage, which made it very easy to unloa...

Everything about this property was great! Every single person we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. You couldn't ask for better service. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Our room was very nice and comfortable and also quiet. There isn't one bad thing I could even say about this hotel. I highly recommend this property!
