Spent 3 nights at end Sept. A good, small boutique hotel outside the centre of Jogja. We were a little concerned when, being taken there for the first time we went down some pretty bumpy back streets but were pleased with what we found. Booked a standard room, which was adequate, but would recommend the deluxe which are a further from reception and around the pool. Good breakfasts. We had the banana pancakes which were v tasty. Wi-Fi worked fine. Reception staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.
We ate 2 evening meals there which were also good – better than the meals we ate elsewhere. We hired a car & driver twice. Ours was Yano who was a real nice young guy and a good driver. The hotel charges either by the hour or the (10 hour) day. It probably works out a bit more than haggling for a taxi, but it was convenient and imo reasonable.More
