We toured a few different Distilleries but this was definitely one of the favorites. Its much smaller than some of the others, but the staff here are wonderful! We actually got in early, prior to the tour we wanted, so they switched it up to give us our tour, which was great. We got to take a bunch of photos, ask a ton of questions, and really get a solid understanding of the distillery that didn't seem scripted.
After the tour, the tasting really helped to determine what you would like to purchase, and gave us a great understanding of their brands.
Would definitely recommend this tour; its totally worth it.

We went for the 'connaisseur' tour with Bill.
Be sure it's Bill when you take it the tour, he learns everyone something about enjoying bourbon. And he's very witty,

This tour doesn't show anything about the distilling process but you get to taste some awesome, expensive bourbon!

15$ might seem expensive but the bourbon and free glass really make it worth,

The tour was very brief, they do not actually distill there so you only see a video and the warehouse, but our guide did an awesome job walking us thru the tasting and explaining/demonstrating how just a few drops of water can totally change the nose, flavor and complexity of the bourbon. He was also great at reassuring everyone that there is not right or wrong when it comes to your opinions as everyone is different and your pallet will dictate what you like.

They facility itself has so much information that you almost don't need to do a tour - they have exhibits that you can read and even smell (pretty neat). We did the condensed version in which you watch a short video and then taste. We never heard of any of their brands so though we'd try it out and were not disappointed. They apparently make spirits as well - such as well known Hypnotiq - which were displayed on a case around the cash register (behind it). They sold some rare/higher end Bourbons and we got those.

They actually gave us a military discount! Tasting is $5, but free for active duty military with ID. We didn't expect a discount for buying Bourbon, so that was really nice!

This is absolutely worth a visit if you are interested in bourbon, but you should know that there is no distillery on site. That said, you do spend a bit more time in the rickhouse than in the other bourbon trail tours I've taken, the tour guide was knowledgeable, and the tasting room portion was very well done.
