“Good launching point for Bourbon trail”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014

A good place to stay each night for multiple days of Bourbon Trail touring. Centrally located, close to many Distilleries. Having breakfast available in the morning allows for an early start without hunting down a restaurant prior to touring.

We extended our stay in order to see/do more things. They did everything they could to help, as our current room was booked for that night, they got us in another room, had it cleaned quickly and gave us a call when it was ready, as we were out sightseeing. Clean rooms, close to town.

Stayed here for a weekend recently as we were attending a family reunion in the area. The hotel was neat, beds were comfortable, nice pool, decent enough breakfast and is pet friendly. There are 2 nice areas for walking dogs and it was so clean and they provide bags for cleaning up after your dog. The hotel is in a good location and is close to many things. We did the Barton's Bourbon tour and that was very close by. A horse and carriage tour stopped by several times while we were there and we ended up giving that a try and it was very enjoyable! Our room had a microwave and refrigerator but I don't think all rooms have one so be sure to request that if you need it. There is a restaurant right next door but we didn't try it. Next to the restaurant and just a short walk from the hotel is a convenience store that has the best soft serve ice cream. We stopped by there each night. Yummy and a great price! The grounds of the hotel are lovely and there are plenty of places to sit around. They even have grills. The staff was very accommodating to our large reunion group. All in all a very nice place!

everyone was very friendly. enjoyed sitting outside and talking with other guests. beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows! didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, but I heard it was great. loved seeing the horse and carriage ride by. Didn't care for the barking dog that stayed just down the hall from us.

Very good hotel. Great value, excellent complimentary breakfast and friendly staff. Within walking distance to just about everything in Bardstown. Rooms tend to be small and have a little of a musty humid odor, but I would stay there again. Not a 5 star hotel but a very strong 4 star one.

This is the most friendly hotel we've ever stayed at...the employees were kind and generous...and they loved our dogs! They have several pet-friendly parks which made our stay that much more pleasing!

I stayed there for the weekend while on business and found them to be above average. Their breakfast is good, the pool and pool area is nice and well maintained, the staff are courteous and helpful and they have nice areas for pets and picnics. Nice place.
