The Berea Pinnacles are simply beautiful in any angle that one can look and/or experience them. I hiked the Berea Pinnacles during Mountain Day of my freshman year at Berea College. It was an experience that I will never forget. My colleagues and I sat at the top of one of the pinnacles and watched the sunset as it rose into the sky. It was a sight that a digital photo could not truly capture, at least not entirely. I highly recommend going to visit the Berea Pinnacles, especially during a sunset. Doing so, makes you feel as if you have become a brand new person. You will not regret it.

The Pinnacles have a very nice trail. You can either choose to go East or West depending on their personal strength. The trail is short and nice with decent view.
The view on the top is nice, but not too remarkable.
Nice experience!

The Berea Pinnacles, consisting of both a West and an East side, provide an experience worth investing your time in (more than once, if possible!). The ascending hikes provide good cardio, but the effort is rewarded with breath-taking views of the landscape. It’s great to venture to the top with a group of family or friends, or you can simply trek it on your own. If you’re an early riser, I would personally recommend sunrise hikes to the East Pinnacle. Regardless of the time of day you plan your climb, though, you are sure to enjoy the journey!
