We recently spent several days at the Alpine Motel in Burkesville, Kentucky for a mini-family reunion. We had folks from Florida, Ohio, and South Carolina stay here. The accommodations were spacious and clean and the view was breathtaking. The staff, led by Bill, Lynne, Katie, and Johnny could not have been more accommodating. The "Ledge Lodge" is spacious and the cedar wood is a beautiful setting; it is perfect for a large family group. There are ample bedrooms and bathrooms throughout. Other family members had private motel rooms that were large, clean, and comfortable, all with spectacular views from high atop the hills. The motel is conveniently located near Cumberland Lake, Dale Hollow Lake and even Mammoth Cave. Rates are very reasonable. A great value and a hidden gem.

Room Tip: Every room has a breathtaking view, balconies, and comfortable, spacious accommodations

Awesome little BBQ place down at the bottom of hill not far from the motel called Hamiltons, great food. Can not go wrong by staying here at all always my choice when in the area .

Room Tip: Every room has a great view , very cozy and everything you need for your stay .

If you're in or near Burksville, KY and need a place to stay this is the place! Beautiful location on the top of a hillside overlooking the town. The place is a piece of Americana built in the 50's but updated and remodeled recently. The owners were very nice and sincerely wanted to make our stay as pleasant as possible. If you have an opportunity to stay here don't miss it!

We chose the Alpine Motel as an overnight stop prior to moving on to Lake Cumberland. The view from the motel looking down on Burkesville is like something seen on a 1950s postcard. The rooms faced the valley below. The rooms have been updated with a comfortable contemporary feel. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. A guest extended his stay in a room that had been reserved for our party. The owners gave us other adjoining rooms. The arrangement worked out great for our party. Time spent in the pool was relaxing. Be advised there are two roads up to the motel. Both have steep inclines and tight corners. Approach with caution. The inn is worth the drive.

Clean comfortable accommodations in quiet area high up on a hill. Owners are very accommodating and helpful. The rooms have all the basic amenities you need and want; good beds, microwave, coffee, great views of valley.
