We stopped in Cave City, KY on the way to Texas so we can see some of the caves tomorrow.
We chose Sleep Inn because of the good reviews on Trip Advisor!
It looks to be fairly new. Our room is a King with sofa bed. It's a really big room. The bathroom is large with a large walk-in shower. It's super clean. AC works good.
Has a fridge & microwave. 2 closets. 2 chest of drawers & a desk.
Wish it has a tub to soak in after being in the car all day.
The pool is small so that disappointed our son a bit but the game room made up for it.
Also they have a workout room but the AC isn't on so it's a little too hot.
Has a nice flat screen tv with cable!
Beds are comfortable. Yeah!
I think it's the best hotel in Cave City, KY.
I would stay here again.
Laying here relaxing watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs!
Life is good. :)

We stayed in one of their hot tub rooms. Very spacious room with microwave, fridge , desk area, hot tub, flat screen tv, and big bathroom. The room was also nice and quiet and very clean. In the morning they have a nice breakfast with even some hot options such as waffles , sausage patties, eggs, toast, and English muffins . The hotel has a small indoor pool and fitness room, and even has a game room . It's right off the interstate within minutes to Mammoth Cave and other local attractions. We would definitely recommend this and stay here again.

We stayed here on Monday night in a non-smoking king room, following our visit to Cub Run Cave (about 30 minutes away) and before heading to Mammoth Cave (about 20 minutes away) the next morning. It was a very convenient spot for many caves in the area. It has many fast food spots to eat at and has continental breakfast in the morning. They were very flexible about our late check-in and early check-out. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was typical but also included hot waffles, yogurt, fresh juice, and some egg options. It did the trick and we were very comfortable. Perfect if you just need a place to lay your head between stops and want to be close to the attractions. AAA discount saved us, too! :)

My wife and I traveled from MI with another couple to Cave City, KY in order to tour Mammoth Cave, a first for all of those on the trip but myself. After a long day of driving and hiking the caves, we were looking forward to the hotel. Be warned that although the commercial district of Cave City isn't large, the Sleep Inn & Suites is not visible immediately after exiting I-65, so be certain to have directions all the way to the hotel itself.

Although we arrived relatively late (9:45 p.m. local time), check-in was a breeze. The parking lot, though somewhat small, had plenty of available parking, was well-lit, and appeared quite secure. Upon entering the lobby, we were greeted by the receptionist, who was very attentive, courteous, and professional. As a Choice Priviledges Gold member, our party was offered a delayed check out time the following morning, and I was quite pleased to find that our room request (made in advance at the time of our reservation) was honored.

The lobby was well-appointed and clean. I was pleased to see that the pictures which I had viewed prior to making the online reservation accurately portrayed the current state of the hotel decor - fresh, clean, tasteful, and modern. I was even more impressed after stepping off of the elevator on the 3rd floor - the hallway decor managed to build upon the initial impression given us by the lobby. Our room (Two Queen beds, shower only) was clean, everything was in its place, and the appointments and decor suited the room and our tastes perfectly. The room was a bit on the warm side, but after setting the AC to a reasonable sleeping temperature we immediately headed down to the pool, hoping to discover a jacuzzi with which to soak away our long day. Alas, no jacuzzi was available, which would have been disappointing had I not been already fairly certain that none existed due to prior online research. The pool was small, but we were the only patrons, so this wasn't an issue for us. If more than one party were enjoying the pool at once, particularly with children present, I can see the relatively small pool size being an inconvenience. That said, for two couples like ourselves, this was a non-issue. Upon returning to the room we found that the AC unit had performed flawlessly and had cooled the room to a comfortable sleeping temperature. We enjoyed the unique shower, which we found could accommodate two without any trouble :)

My wife and I both slept quite well, and our sleep was not interrupted by any noise from traffic, adjacent rooms, or the corridor. The following morning we availed ourselves of the Morning Medley breakfast, which consisted of two hot options in the form of sausage patties and fake eggs, along with hard boiled eggs, bagels, english muffins, make your own waffles, two flavors of danish, several flavors of fruit cups and yogurt, as well as several varieties of cereal and milk. Beverages available consisted of apple juice and orange juice. The various offerings were all well-stocked and were continually replenished during the course of our breakfast, despite the meal hour ending in 30 minutes. Kitchen staff cheerfully greeted guests as they appeared, wiped down each table as the previous patrons finished, and emptied the trash prior to it overflowing. The breakfast room itself was well-appointed and included some tasteful art and photos of nature on the wall. Seating arrangements were well laid out and consisted of a combination of tables, chairs, and half-booths. One entire wall of the seating area consisted of glass, and faced the rear of the hotel (SE). This resulted in a nice morning view of an empty field and allowed plenty of sunlight into the room.

Checking out was as easy as was checking in, and staff were just as courteous and professional as they had been the evening before. Because we were able to split the room rate with the other couple traveling with us, we felt that the value we received was excellent. Had we paid the full rate ourselves, we would still have been more than pleased with the value. If we are ever in the area again, we will certainly stay at this location. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: We were given a room on the top floor facing the rear of the hotel, and although many of the rooms o...

This is the newest, and therefore likely the nicest, hotel in Cave City. It has the standard continental breakfast and an oddly small indoor pool. The rooms are all tastefully decorated and ours included a mini fridge. It was curious that the toilet didn’t have a lid. So much for those clean towels stored right above it… For a while in the evening there was an odd smell that came through the vents. It was in our room, but not in the hallway. The washing machine worked fine, but even after 90 minutes in the dryer, our single load of laundry was still pretty wet. We had to drape everything over the furniture in the room overnight. The woman at the front desk did not care when I mentioned it at checked out. It seems they still have some glitches to work out here.

We stayed here before going to Mammoth Cave. It was quiet (even tho we were next to the ice machine we never heard it), clean, new, decent sized rooms (we had a king/pull out couch room) and good restaurants near by (try the mexican one!). We liked the walk in shower. We would stay here again. Easy on, easy off and near a lot of attractions. Breakfast was good - had a waffle maker...only complaint was size of eating area - several people had to wait for a table to open up.
