We only stayed overnight and did not get to participate in any of the great activities offered by the campground but from checking it out through the brochures and walking around I believe we will go back and stay here with some of my wife's family as they offer cabins and a lot of opportunity to see the Cumberland falls area and participate in activities, everything is very clean and well kept.

We did some tent camping in June of 2014 and found the campground to be everything we needed. Several options exist for camping here from pull through and back in camper sites with water and electric to backwoods hike in sites and others in between. Restrooms shower areas are clean and well kept. The shower house near the pull up tent sites appeared newer and featured separate individual rooms with the shower and restroom together. The staff here is the best around. The campground is connected with Sheltowee Trace Outfitters where you can do anything the area has to offer. They provide whitewater rafting, canoeing and kayaking on the Cumberland and Big South Fork rivers as well as many, many other outdoor activity opportunities. call them and they are more than accommodating and will answer any question you have about the area. There is a store on site where many items can be picked up. Ice and firewood are sold on site at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a campground in the area I'd recommend them. If you are going to backwoods camp in the area I still recommend stopping by for information.

Unfortunately, with our young family we were not able to take advantage of the rafting. We stayed at Falls Creek to go to the state park. You are minutes from the Daniel Boone Forest as well. Camping here is an outstanding experience! First, the way the campsites are set up you have ample room and feel a sense of privacy. The state park does not accomdate campers much less large campers (we travel in a 42 foot 5th wheel) but Falls Creek does with ease. The campground was not full either, making it down right peaceful. We had a full service site at a very reasonable rate and a Good Sam discount as well. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and polite. Our campsite was one of the farthest from the camp store and we had no issue with the Wifi. My son had a ball on the zipline. The concession area was reasonably priced as well. This was not our first stay and it won't be our last!

We stayed in a cozy cabin for two nights, which was clean and well-maintained, as were the bathrooms. We did the all day rafting trip and it was a lot of fun! They did some pre-trip safety instructions, which were helpful if you were nervous going rafting for the first time. The rapids were great, the guides were hilarious and very good at their jobs, and we go to swim and dive during the trip. There were also options for individual duckies. The trails in the forest are nearby and they offer some beautiful sites (go see Eagle Falls). Overall a great trip and good value for what we paid.

My fiancee and I planed a trip to one of the cozy cabins for my daughter and nephew for their graduation. We had a blast! The cabin was very nice and cozy, and the bathrooms were in walking distance. The sights were also very well shaded. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We have told many friends about our stay. We can't wait to come back again!
