We were in town for the SPAFFORD concert. While the venue was clean and people/staff were very friendly and on it, this is no place for someone in a wheelchair. We didn't have anyone in our group in a wheelchair, but when I place reviews, this is one of the things I do look at. Also they do not allow anyone to leave and re-enter the venue. Smoking area is upstairs in an open concept with a "courtyard" like appearance. There's also an additional stage for outdoor concerts.

Having smokers in my group, you have to go up and down two fights of stairs and a fire door to get outside. Seems kinda like an insurance agents nightmare to have drunk people going up and down stairs to smoke outside.

If there were a fire in this building...sorry people on the second floor, you lose.

We would definitely go back, but they should really rethink some things.

This place is horrible if you are in a wheelchair. The area where they put wheelchairs is atrocious, there is no way that you can see. There are steps throughout the venue, which are impossible to navigate in a wheelchair. I was very disappointed in this venue.

We have been to the Madison Theater a couple times and have enjoyed the both shows. A few things the management of the Theater should consider, lights on the stairs in the balcony area would be really great, saw several people fall, about 50/50 on sober vs drunk. The security person that was in the balcony would probably done a better job if he paid attention and not waited until someone was going to get him because he was too busy on his phone or eating.. The waitress we had was GREAT!!

We saw Dweezil Zappa play. The theater is fantastic. A standing only area in front of the stage. Then elevated table seating looking over the people standing. Then an elevated area behind the tables for standing. Two great cash bars and clean rest rooms. Very, very nice small venue for concerts. A lot of free nearby (less than a block) parking. Very safe area. It also has local dining places. We drove 75 miles to get there and will do it again.
