Room was clean and decent, bed was comfortable. Price was a little high in my opinion for the area. Staff was all very nice and helpful. Would stay again. I think they should have provided at least a continental breakfast for the price but Waffle House is right across the street and hotel had what looked to be a nice breakfast buffet.

Room Tip: No rooms with any sort of view due to flood berm.

There's nothing too much wrong with this Holiday Inn, but nothing to get an undemanding guest excited either. We have been staying mostly in Hampton Inns on this road trip and, despite the fact that the Holiday Inn is a full service hotel, it and its staff suffer by comparison in almost every respect. Registration was efficient but brusque and impersonal. The staff generally were civil, but seemed disinterested. Our bedrooms were clean and functional, but dark and cramped. Breakfast is a paid-for option (which we didn't take). It's an old, tired property which needs a lot of money spending on it.

The location is convenient for downtown Cincinnati, right across the Ohio, but there is lots of competition in the same area, including a Hampton Inn, which we should have chosen for our stay.

We were in the area for a ball game just over the river in Cincinnati. We found the rates to be much better than on the Cincinnati side of the river. It was a pleasant 20 minute walk over the bridge to the park. The hotel was clean, staff pleasant and well located. As mentioned by other reviewers, the hotel is on the $1 shuttle route (cheapest "get acquainted" tour you will ever see). Directly across the street from the hotel are a number of fast food eateries as well as gas stations. About four blocks away is Mainstrasse - a charming street with many restaurants, outdoor eating areas and some shops. About two blocks away is a wonderful little coffee shop (walk kitty corner and to the left as you leave the hotel)

Went for some Reds games, its a perfect location. You can either walk to Great American Ballpark about 20mins or so or take the shuttle which is right in front of Hotel for only $1. The Hotel is a little older but is very clean and the staff are very helpful to all your needs. There are plenty of fast food places right near Hotel. The MainStrasse Village is only a few blocks away. There are a lot of Bars and Restaurants there as well. The Hotel value is well worth it compared to other places around or over the river in Cincinnati. Would stay again..

Room Tip: Get a room on the side of the White Castle. Trucks use other side and make noise during the morning.

The hotel is dated and needs remodeling, the rooms are on the smaller side. The bathroom was particularly small. Otherwise it was clean. Free coffee and parking, but not free breakfast. It is within walking distance of several quick eat places. Easy access to and from highway.

We stayed one Sun. night to attend a Reds game with two kids ages 9 &12. Rooms were clean and comfortable, hotel was really nice in common areas as well. the location was greatwe were able to walk to restaurant & stores ( mcd's, white castle and waffle house all across the street). The pool area was private with a nice outdoor poolwhich was very clean. Shuttle picked us up to take us to and from the game ($1 pp each way)...that was an unexpected plus! We would most certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: we asked for riverfront but was given a over view of a roof and ac units...but it was understandable...
