After attending a conference here last year, and having a very good experience; we were a bit dismayed at all the recent negative TA reviews. We were pleasantly relieved, however, when upon our arrival we again had a great stay.
Check-in was welcoming and efficient; with the staff being once again pleasant and accommodating.
Our room was clean, comfortable and provided a wonderful view of the river and city. (We do agree, however, the bathrooms would benefit from vents to reduce the steam during showering).
The hotel is older; but overall, is well maintained and conveniently located.
The shuttle, which stops across the street, is a nice asset for exploring the area.
We enjoyed our complimentary breakfasts (as Platinum members) at the hotel restaurant; which also provides great views to accompany the meal.
We stay in hotels 100 to 150+ nights a year. This may not be the finest Marriott in the chain; but we would certainly not hesitate to return, if we are once again in the area.

1.) We self parked and the elevator area to the hotel was filthy.
2.) The lobby was very warm.
3.) We had a concierge room. First room had thermostat set at 50 and smelled. It was non-functioning and the room was in the 80s.
4.) Second room had air conditioning but it took hours to get the room comfortable. If you are an architectural historian, this Marriott is for you....the rooms are out of the 50s.
5.) For seniors with artificial knees be careful, the bathrooms are very small. Sink drainage was nearly nonexistent.
6.) Concierge included breakfast at the “Concierge Lounge”. Seated next to a window, there was heat coming out of the vents. It was 96 degrees outside.
7.) Staff were excellent but even their wonderful attitude and professionalism couldn’t make up for this decrepit hotel.
8.) We stay in Marriott’s because of the no pets policy.

Aisha was so nice and helpful. All staff was friendly and helpful. The negative was the actual rooms. Bathrooms are is desperate need of updating and repairs. Bathroom was nasty to the point I asked to be moved. No better in the 2nd room. Very disappointed in Marriott for being okay with conditions of the room and charging the ridiculous prices for such horrible accommodations.

Stayed here during a visit to the No. Kentucky area. With the right room choice, you have a stunning view of downtown Cincinnati and the Ohio river.

The hotel is quite nicely appointed and full of amenities. The staff members we interacted with were TOP NOTCH in helping us during our stay.

We were not disappointed and don't believe you will either...

Room Tip: View of the river and Cincinnati downtown are great!

The bad: Old, worn decor. Not really a Marriot quality guestroom. Very slow shower drain--even after engineering was called to fix.
The good: Beautiful view on the river view rooms. Close to the Roebling Bridge and an easy walk to downtown and the stadiums.
Meh: Staff was inconsistent. Some were problem solvers and eager to jump into action. Others, not so much.
Self-Parking is BY THE HOUR with a limit of $10, but there are no in and out privileges. That can really add up when you leave for activities in the morning, return for a short while and then go out again.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for river view
