We had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel. We spent the day their for a wedding and reception and it was lovely. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and accommodated us and our 1yr old daughter. We stayed in one of their suites and I think the room was bigger than our front room! I couldn't recommend it highly enough, my only criticism (and its only little) is that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, especially as we paid quite a bit to stay in the suite in the first place. But apart from that I would say if you aren't sure, just do it. The surroundings were great and it was easy to find and fairly accessible for the airport etc.

Room Tip: Definately stay in a suite, you won't be disappointed. They are at the top of the hotel and have great views and are massive. We didn't hear any noise late into the night and had a great sleep.

Located in a beautiful setting complete with golf course this gothic building is a real gem. The setting for afternoon tea for 14 guests was in the comfotable lounge. From our arrival at about 3.15 to our eventual departure at around 6pm we were looked after by attentive and delightful staff who ensured that we had everything that we wanted. The tea was excellent with toasted hot cross buns, very well filled finger sandwiches, lovely scones and an excellent variety of cakes. We attacked the buns with gusto and although the gannets amongst us also managed to demolish the sandwiches we could not cope with the multitude of scones and cakes. We are all associated in some way with Sandhurst Tea Rooms and regularly go on outings for afternoon tea and I would put this on a par with the Savoy (London) and Eastwell Manor (Kent) which are our favourites. So if you can find the time to visit horsted Place, even if only for afternoon tea, I believe that you will not be disappointed. Thanks again to the staff who made our visit so enjoyable.

If you are looking for a charming wedding venue in Sussex, where you want exclusivity and attention to detail on service and suburb food, then look no further.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a number of weddings at Horsted Place. The most recent was that of Vanessa & Steve, their wedding was quite small and intimate, but never the less a really fantastic bunch of people. Their day was full of laughter and smiles.

This venue is a Hotel but it feels like you are visiting a family home.. I can’t wait to come back here again.

Some years back I stayed at this hotel over the Christmas period. Our room was extremely spacious with an excellent, modern bathroom. The building itself is marvellous, the public rooms spacious and in the best of taste. Christmas dinner in the wonderful restaurant could not be faulted, either for food or service - top marks.
Anyone visiting Britain and wanting to see some wonderful countryside not far from London should come here for a coupe of days, they won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Get a suite if possible, they are so spacious.

Further to my previous review. Our daughters wedding was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were just so helpful. We could not fault it in anyway. If its your kind of place you will not better it.

Room Tip: Tell the staff what you want.
