We stayed one night at this hotel. As we had travelled by plane overnight and arrived early, we requested that we be allowed to take up a room, so that we could make up our lack sleep. Reception said this would be possible, however after sitting for 3 hours the request was finally granted.
We were leaving early the next day and asked for an early wake-up call (6am). Not a problem the receptionist said.
At 7am WE AWOKE (thankfully we had not completely closed the curtains, and light awoke us) threw clothes into cases, rushed out the door . NO SHOWER, NOTHING TO EAT OR DRINK, a speedy car ride. NOT the way to start the day. How would any reasonable person review this. hotel.

Thank you for your review and we do apologise that you had to wait for your room, however our check in is 2pm and whilst we do try to allow guests into the rooms as soon as they become available sometimes this is not possible. The alarm call i again apologise we do have a system that we have within the telephone system that records all alarm calls and we do rely on this working on this occasion i am sorry to say it didnt, we now have a system in place to ensure this hopefully doesnt occur again

I do hope that you will return again to the hotel to hopefully allow us the opportunity to show you we can be relied on

Got a great offer, really enjoyed the food in the restaurant, fine dining, but at affordable prices. Warm welcome from the staff. The rooms/restaurant and bar have great views across the golf course to the South Downs. Very close to A22, but no traffic noise. Large, clean comfortable rooms.

Room Tip: The higher floors have better views

We fancied a one night getaway without the kids that didn't require too much driving and this deal, which included a bottle of champagne, three course dinner breakfast and use of the spa seemed great value. We were not disappointed!!

The lovely reception staff had upgraded our more than adequate club room to a suite that I swear was bigger than my mums two bed bungalow. It was huge!!!! Tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean it was the huge balcony and the uninterrupted country views that was the star turn.

Dinner was tasty as were the great champagne cocktails served impeccably by the waiter Joseph.

The spa was not busy and the jacuzzi was the warmest I've ever been in. We were so relaxed by the time we left it barely mattered that the m2 had shut and we just chilled and enjoyed the scenic route home.

Will definitely go again, will be looking out for deals and may get to hit a few balls too if it ever stops raining. Thank you.

Stayed last weekend. Accommodation and facilities were good but sorry to say food, in particular the evening meal, not up to what you would expect for the star rating of the hotel. Service very very slow!

I stayed here with my friend for a work function, and we enjoyed ourselves in the leisure suite, the pool is big and tastefully lit, the sauna/steam rooms were a nice size. The party held here was lovely with good food and excellent service. We had a twin room near the health spa, the view from our room was spectacular over the golf course and on the rolling countryside. It is a beautiful, modern, spacious and luxurious hotel set in the most beautiful Sussex countryside.
