We stayed here for one night in February and we were impressed with the quality of the facilities and the spaciousness of our room, the hotel and the grounds. We had a meal in the bar area which was fine and the staff were courteous. We were disappointed with the level of service we received the following morning at breakfast and have subsequently had a conversation with the General Manager about this. We understand that our concerns are being addressed which gives us more confidence in making a return visit.

Cannot fault the welcome and service from the front desk, a credit! Great service at dinner and breakfast, made to feel special and thanks to our Czech girl who was brilliant. Food was good but not exceptional. Carvery for evening - average, breakfast much better, good choice and food was hot.
We upgraded to a room with balcony, highly recommended. Rooms are large, clean and great beds. Lovely views and lots of sunshine.
If you are there for golf, absolutely brilliant. They look after you very well. particularly John who made it special. Golf clubs looked after and cleaned for you. Golf bar staff very efficient and the menu for bar snacks and service top notch. Pool is not as warm as you would expect and not quite so welcoming staff.

Stayed here on a business trip earlier in year.
The hotel is within easy reach of Gatwick hotel if flying into the area, about 30minutes, but a little longer if you hit the morning school run traffic in the area.
Rooms spacious and comfortable, and no noise heard from other rooms, large well equipped bathrooms.
Staff on front desk and conference staff were very accommodating in assisting with business meeting. Staff on front desk even checked me in on return flight that night (Thank You)
Food in the restaurant was good.
Very good health club attached and made use of the pool (lovely and warm which is always a bonus)
Would recommend for other business users.

My husband an I went on a valentines package, which was on the whole good value.
The rooms were nice well equipped, clean and comfortable.
We used the pool, which was freezing. Spa and steam room were nice.
The set meal was mediocre as were the serving staff.
Front of house staff were excellent.
The hotel itself is well presented, very clean and pleasant.
The restaurant let it down, as did the buffet breakfast!!

Room Tip: All rooms are good.

My wife and I took a one night break with secret escapes at this hotel and could not fault anything from the very friendly welcome on arrival to the time we checked out .The rooms were large and the beds were huge and comfortable with great views across the countryside towards the South Downs . We treated ourselves to a champagne cream tea that was delicious before relaxing in the spa area with the steam room, sauna , jacuzzi and swimming pool . After a good nights sleep we went on to enjoy a great buffet breakfast with every thing fresh and hot where again we were greeted and welcomed by very friendly staff who took great care to make sure every thing was all ok for you . So would definitely return for another break
