“Excellent Spa Facilities”
Reviewed 19 March 2014 via mobile

The spa and leisure centre is a little oasis to spend a lovely relaxing morning. Right from the moment being treated by a smile from the lovely receptionist. Clean calm beautiful environment and pool.

Stayed for two nights recently midweek. Facilities here are very good for the price. This is a large modern hotel with spacious rooms and easy access for anyone with limited mobility. Breakfasts are adequate with an a la carte option. Lunch and evening meal menus are limited but the standard of the food is good. Particularly liked the fact that the food is served hot here by attentive staff who have had some customer service training.
Well appointed and large gym but did not use pool or spa. Attraction here is really the golf and great for a few days escape from the rat race.

Room Tip: Ask for a room without velux windows.

My wife I recently held a party at the East Sussex National Golf Resort to celebrate her birthday. It was nothing less than excellent in every respect and guests are still talking about in now, nearly three weeks after the event. During the months spent in the planning the events team, especially Steven, the Wedding Co-ordinator, were a great help in making sure everything was thought of and arrangements were in place for the big night. When the time came the event ran like clockwork with the evening being run by Neil and his team running seamless from drinks reception to buffet meal to disco. Throughout the evening the staff were all most attentive and any requirements we had were met instantly. The food served was of high quality, as was noted by all the quests, and suitable for all tastes. The disco was superb with the floor packed from the first to the last song. As most had to travel some distant to the venue a large number of quests stayed over night. All were particularly impressed by location of the hotel and the standard of the rooms. To say a great time was had by all would be an understatement. Thank you East Sussex National for a birthday party we will never forget.

Don't get me wrong this is a beautiful hotel & has lovely treatment room and swimming pool but this should not be advertised as a spa day or break.

I have been to a few spas and this was by far the most unorganised.

Also if was NOT relaxing when about 25 OAPs joined us in the pool for their weekly aqua aerobics. Something which we were not told prior to going into the pool!

Lunch however was very nice.

They need to invest in some outdoor facilities in those beautiful grounds!

Have returned home today from a one night stay at this little gem of a hotel. Staff amazing from start to finish with no exception. Room delightful and view stunning stretching for miles over the countryside. Food absolutely delicious, we ate lunch hear which was lovely and had a three course dinner which was fantastic. Spa facilities so peaceful quiet and clean, very relaxing, probably the nicest pool I have ever seen in a spa.
We went for my husband 45th birthday just for one night. The staff brought chocolate brownies to our room as an additional birthday treat which was lovely, and then after dinner brought a birthday cake out and sang to my husband which was lovely. Little touches that make such a difference.
We could not fault this hotel in anyway and would highly recommend to anyone.

We booked at the last minute and decided to book an luxury suite. We where very impressed with the very big room and the great view across the golf course from the very large balcony. Dinner was good value, we opted for the carvery which was fresh and a great selection. The waiter was very attentive without being annoying.
The leisure facilities are first class and a must visit.
Overall we where really pleased with our stay. The one thing that really impressed us both was the staff, all well presented, smiling and willing to be as helpful as could be, a rare sight in many places we visit.
We will be back soon, thank you ESN

Just returned from a 2 day golf break at this complex. Forgeting the golf and the golf course (both below par) the hotel made up for this. The food was of good quality especially the breakfast which was from a typical self service area but was both fresh and varied.
The main reason for the review is show my appreciation for the staff. They were extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. In particular the receptionist Christina always had a smile and a warm welcome for all the guests. A credit to the hotel.
