OK, its not that posh but its a gem of a property. Good size rooms with FREE WiFi, reasonably priced mini bars and in my room a HUGE TV! Even though my room was facing the street the double glazing worked a treat and I had a great night sleep. The Bar and Restaurant on site is also of high quality and super friendly staff can be found throughout. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit over Easter and the accommodation was clean, comfortable, spacious and in an excellent location walking distance to shops and transport. The only thing that let us down was no in-room laundry facilities (difficult to use communal facilities when you have a baby and toddler) and no bath or laundry sink to bathe small children. With these two additions this accommodation would be perfect for families.

Recently refurbished to a high standard. Free wi fi, good restaurant, helpful staff, coin operated laundry room and bags of hot water. Close to metro station for easy access to Melbourne CBD and Brighton and Sandringham by car.
Good value for money hotel out of town.

We arrived early to a very warm welcome and an upgrade to a family room on the upper level. We had heavy cases and there was no lift but the room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Oddly though, there was limited storage with virtually no drawers - totally unsuitable for a family staying for more than a night or so.

There was a kettle and toaster in the room, but I would suggest you rinse out the kettle thoroughly before use as ours was full of black bits which were stubborn to remove completely and then only after several boilings and re-rinsings.

There is a bar and cafe on site and a pool too, but it was too icy to use despite the scorching outside temperature and there was nothing comfy to sit on - only hard upright slatted chairs and only 1 pool bed! Not really very pleasant at all.

It is on the main road but has parking and is close enough to walk to local shops and get the train in to Melbourne CBD. (Public Transport in Melbourne uses a MYKI card - like an Oyster card - which you top up with credit and 'swipe' to use at entrances and exits.) Trains start early and always seemed to sound their horns repeatedly, no matter how un-Godly the hour!

It's a shame really as the staff were lovely, but apart from being relatively conveniently located, sadly I wouldn't really recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: If you have any mobility difficulties then ask for a ground floor room as the upper rooms have lots of steps that are awkward to access and only from both ends of the blocks too. They're also noisy with people clanking their bags down each individual step from early til late.

We stayed for 5 nights- wife and 2 staff- while on business in Melbourne. For Melbourne city it is a little far out, but OK.
Staff very helpful in helping to change from double room to apartment when the staff arrived, and also in taking delivery of some printing for us. Thanks for that.
The rooms were comfortable, but there were a few problems- like very cheap spindly dining chairs (2 broken) and also some plumbing problems. Manager seems to be proactive about getting them sorted though, so hopefully this will not be an issue next time.
It's an easy place to stay, but it just looks like they tried to save a bit too much money in the final stages of the fit-out.
