I was treated to a spa day at The Greenway Hotel and Spa on 27th July. My daughter and I started with an excellent lunch, before moving into the spa area. The pool, although small, is perfectly formed, with jacuzzi and other water features. The shower was wonderful, with its tropical birdsong, rolling thunder and related sprays and water temperatures. The steam room was super, wafting scented steam around us, as we sat on a mosaic bench. The suana and sanarium were also good. The hot tub is situated in a lovely courtyard garden. For our treatments, we opted for back, neck and shoulder massages and facials and both were excellent. This was the most enjoyable spa day I have ever had and I highly recommend it.

This spa is great beautiful surroundings and a relaxed day! Lovely in the summer for the outside hottub too. Great massage here and the dining area is so lovely. Would highly recommend for family friends or couples. Look for deals on groupon or living social as you can often pick up a good offer.

We spent the weekend here for my parents' anniversary and aside from being a beautiful place to be you really could not fault their attentiveness and friendliness. Every member of staff went above and beyond the call of duty for guests. I took my toddler daughter and although I think the hotel is primarily set up as a relaxing location for adults, they had everything a little one needs and were incredibly helpful (and forgiving!) from washing bottles to providing dairy free alternatives. We stayed above the spa (as we also had a dog - we were pushing the limits of great service!) and the rooms were quirky yet beautiful and really spacious. The spa was gorgeous (although capacity to use it is reduced with a toddler!) and we were lucky enough to have weather to enjoy the beautiful grounds - they even found a spot for us to put a paddling pool - where else would do that?!! Food was delicious, not set up for toddler time (my only quibble, but reflects set up as relaxed adult break) and everything perfectly presented. I could not recommend this hotel more - for a family gathering and I also look forward to returning with my husband (without child!)

A wonderful setting and pure luxury. We received a free upgrade to the Oak Suite (bridal suite). The staff were welcoming and looked after our every need.
The only negative aspect of our stay was nothing to do with the hotel itself, however the local farmers were 'muck spreading' and we were directly down wind....yuk. !!!.
The breakfast is truly awesome and the waiting staff looked after our every need. Possibly the only way our dining experience could have been improved would have been by serving meals on warmer plates, however overall we truly had a wonderful time. Thank you very much

Room Tip: Avoid rooms above the spa in hot weather. The Oak Suite is breathtaking

Well, this was a Hotel out of the ordinary. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful! There isn't a single thing we could criticise about this place. It made for a quiet, relaxing break which is why we visited. The food was a culinary delight and came with additional "amuse bouche" courses which were really a mouth watering teaser for the main courses to come! Our room (well I should say, suite), was really great and gave us all the room we needed and more besides. The staff at the Greenway were all extremely pleasant and polite and were ready to help with any queries we had. They were also helpful about which visits to local places would suit our interests. The Spa is also another jewel in the Greenway crown - it was very relaxing and had all the facilities you would ever want with an outside hot tub and sitting area too which we were able to enjoy in the lovely weather we were lucky enough to have. The grounds are beautiful and there are lots of walks from the Hotel to enjoy. Yes, we would certainly consider another stay at this little piece of heaven...

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the main Hotel building. We were on the top floor in the "Cedar" room, w...

We stayed here for two nights end of MAY. It was really fab- especially as we got upgraded to a suite. Everything was suburb, from the rooms, en suites, bar, food, staff- and spa. I think this is the nicest hotel we have stayed in and would recommend it to anyone. The grounds are so peaceful- this was just want we needed as a break from work and kids. If you want a treat- book this hotel and enjoy!

Room Tip: all rooms are lovely but suites are excellent
