This hotel offered everything it advertised. This is not the Hilton. It's a 2-3 star hotel but that is what I expected. Clean rooms, great front desk personnel, comfortable bed, free local paper, good breakfast, working pool and exercise room. Just happy there were no issues. Often these lower end chain hotels can be hit or miss but I have had good luck with every Country Inn and Suites.. Not so with Ramada, Comfort Inn, Quality Inn and La Quinta. I do not have any affiliation with Carlson Companies. I just enjoy the consistency of their hotels.

The only cons were that the walls are a bit thin so I could hear my neighbors early in the morning. The pool is pretty small so do not plan on doing laps. It is more of a kid's play pool. Our stay was a little pricey but it was a fall Saturday night stay and there was a competition at the nearby Kentucky Horse park. So it is probably a peek weekend.

My wife and I decided to stay here based on the high ratings of previous visitors. Even though it was quiet, I don't understand why there were alot of excellent ratings. There were several things noticed by us. First the bathroom door handle didn't line up with the old hole. Second the old mounting holes for the shower curtain rod were still visible. Third the furniture was marked up. The location of the hotel is not well marked. When traveling north on Interstate 75, signs along the road indicate to exit at exit 125. It makes more sense to us to exit the interstate at exit 126. Next time through Georgetown, we will probably stay elsewhere.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds and landscaping were beautiful. The colorful flower beds were truly delightful. The room décor was tasteful and the beds, although not plush, were comfortable. The hotel is pet friendly, and we brought along our dachshund. Unlike some pet-friendly hotels, this inn had excellent housekeeping standards. The breakfast could have been a little better, but overall we found this hotel to be a pleasant stay and a very good value.

Our family stayed as we were booked as vendors for the Festival of the Horse, which unfortunately ended up being cancelled early due to the torrential rain. The cancellation was definitely a huge bummer, but it ended up affording us the ability to relax and spend some family time at Country Inn Suites.

We were grateful for the warm cookies and cocoa at check-in, as we were cold and wet from the rain, So after dinner across the street and a nice warm up in the hot tub, we slept well in a spacious room with nice thick comforters. These are always a plus since our youngest often opts to make a palette on the floor if the oldest gets to "kicky" in his sleep.

The breakfast room was busy, even before 8am, but guests seemed to ebb and flow with decent spacing, preventing too much awkward waiting for table availability. The breakfast staff person kept up with demand (except the regular coffee was out when I attempted a cup), which was surprising since the hotel was at full capacity.

The only issues we experienced were that the bolt lock on our door was difficult to manipulate, the shower head kept swiveling to the side (one of those which have the option to be hand-held), and an orphaned hair band was lying on the floor near one of the beds upon arrival. Everything was well maintained and clean, no bed bugs, and no noise (even near the pool). Otherwise, I would have given a perfect score.

We booked this hotel due being so close to Keeneland Race course. To our delight we found it to be better then we could ask for. The young woman on the desk(Leah Arutoff) was outstanding in ever manner.I travel for a living an I can tell the difference between some one showing up for work and some who truly cares. The owner of the hotel should make sure you don't lose this young woman. We will be back for sure any time we are the Lexington Ky area

Wonderful stay with family. One of the most, if not most, friendliest and helpful staff of all hotels we have stayed in. Nice hot breakfast and coffee and cookies available almost around the clock. Will stay again.

Traveling up I75 without plans or reservations we just stopped here because the hotel and grounds were very attractive. Good rates and we were very pleased with the room . . . and the cookies on the counter. This property has been recently renovated and they did a very good job. Only because I do remodeling for a living was it noticeable that this was not a new facility. Desk staff was very helpful with local information on restaurants. Ruby Tuesday, KFC and Fazoli's were withing easy walking distance while on the east side of the expressway, a mile away, is a large shopping area with anything you could want. The free breakfast was a cut above average with fruit, french toast, bacon and eggs. I would stay again and recommend to anyone.
