“It's good to be alive...”

We never tire of sunsets sitting on the beach, this was a good enough spot than any. Beach was more pebbles than sand, try searching for Cape May diamonds. There is also the WWII concrete shipwreck which adds visual interest to your photo op. Nice gift shop too.

“Flag cermony is not to be missed”
Reviewed 22 April 2012

From Memorial Day to Labor Day there is a flag lowering ceremony that is flat out hokey and gets me teary eyed each and every time. The flag is a coffin flag of a veteran ,donated for the day by the family. The announcer tells us about the vet and Kate Smith sings God Bless America over tinny speakers followed by Taps. While waiting for the sun to set there are Cape May Diamonds to search for and dolphin watching.

“what a great tribute to those who have served our country”
Reviewed 21 April 2012

Our "hats off" to the folks who maintain the beach and make sure the American flag is always flying there.
