Attraction details
Owner description: Ruby Moon Vineyard & Winery is located just South of Henderson, Ky surrounded by the gently rolling farm land of the Audubon Region. Our wines are hand crafted in small batches from our own estate grown grapes from our three acre vineyard and other locally grown fruits. Visitors to Ruby Moon can sample our wines in our Tuscan inspired tasting room. In addition to being able to purchase bottles of wine to go, visitors are also able to purchase wine to drink on site either in the tasting room on our blue stone patio or while strolling through the vineyard. We also have a banquet/meeting room that can be rented out for private parties, wedding receptions, reunions, etc... and a spacious, well appointed suite that we can be rented nightly.

“Stunning Setting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2013

I had reservations at the Fairfield Inn in Evansville until I stumbled upon the Ruby Moon web site and saw that they had a "Sunset Suite" rental. We promptly called and to our delight found it available for the week we were in town. They are located in the country side about 8 miles from the center of Henderson on 41alt. Check in is in the tasting room. The two ladies that own the property are quiet but friendly. The rental unit is located directly above the vineyard, on the second floor of the working winery's production building. The unit is a one bedroom with living room and kitchenette area with a sink and mini fridge. K-cup coffee maker is a nice plus. Flat screen tv with basic cable. The queen bed was comfy enough. The unit was spotlessly clean and seemed brand new. Only complaints were that our iPads, iPhones, and laptop could not pick up the wifi signal, and the a/c seemed to struggle to keep the room cool enough for my liking. These minor grievances melted away with a glance out the window at the amazing view. Keep in mind the room is not accessible to some because of the stairs. A $89 per night, you would be crazy to stay anywhere else if you find yourself in Western Kentucky- and we will be back!

“The coolest stop in the tri-state.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 January 2013 via mobile

Great estate wines and wonderful cheeses aren't even the best thing about Ruby Moon. The owners, Anita & Jamie, make the place feel like home. Take advantage of the Sunset Suite and stay the night in the peace and quite of a beautiful KY vineyard.

“Friendly, cozy and tasty!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 October 2012 via mobile

This is a small winery, with a pleasant tasting room and a limited selection of wines. The ladies who own it are friendly and knowledgeable, and make you feel welcome. They have comfortable seating, inside and out, and encourage customers to bring their own picnic food and enjoy a bottle of their wine. They have cheeses and crackers for purchase, but not much else. Very nice!

“Very nice place.”

I hear they have a bed and breakfast now and would love to check that out one of these days. It is a very beautiful place. I went out in May for the Art's Festival.

“Life is good at Ruby Moon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 May 2012

We stayed at Ruby Moon (15 minutes from Audubon State Park) for 5 nights in May.
What a nice surprise! The cottage was spacious, with the finest bed linens, featuring a deck that overlooks the vineyard.
Hard to beat: A lovely place to stay, in a beautiful, private setting, attached to a winery that produces good wine.
