“Stanmore's best kept secret! Fabulous views, better than Grymsdyke...”

This is a real gem for everyone in the local area but especially joggers, dog walkers and families.

Small car park accessible from Wood Lane. There are several circular routes that extend all the way to Stanmore Station or you can loop round and stay in the Country Park back to the car park. Check out the gated pond area, it's full of wildlife!

There's an observation point that has a nicer outlook than nearby Grimsdyke with uninterrupted views from Alexander Palace over to Heathrow. We went on a clear day and it was incredible! Deliberately not posting photos - you need to see this for yourself

I've known and loved this park all my life and though its not obvious from the main road its well worth seeking out. With open fields and ancient woodland its well maintained with accessible footpaths. Don't miss the beautiful lake and take some carrots for the herd of deer!

A lovely park and plenty of space. We went with some
Friend and their dog for a walk, however he got almost attacked by another big dog. Don't understand that some owners don't line their dog where they have to!!!

I take my dog here for walks as often as I can. The area is huge and varied, included wooded areas, open meadows, a large pond/small lake and much more. There is an abundance of wildlife included rabbits and deer. Such a shame harrow council have decided to close the Dennis Lane car park because they do not have the funds to maintain it.

Decided to try the Stanmore Country Park but disappointed as the car park was closed and couldn't find any car parking on the roads around the park. Sign stated due to cuts there was no one available to lock and unlock the gate. Hopefully this is only for the winter. Drove to Aldenham Country Park instead.
